I got an Email message from the BEI on this.  I'm going to wait out the insurance a little bit after I make phone calls and write letters to them as I don't want money scheduled to be taken out of Escrow monthly if I don't have to.  I won't have any more of the private ins. kids after Aug. 31. Since none of us are getting paid yet by insurance companies, I suspect we are all owed 100% .  Anyway, read carefully before signing.  I got a surprise Escrow check today to cover 6 visits on a child Apr. - end of June.  Mom cancelled alot.  They kept recycling her to Medicaid and she didn't have it anymore, she had nothing.  So I am all caught up except for the insurance ones, about 1500 yet owed.

the state may over ride private insurance and pay us. We need to have 75%
or more of unpaid bills (private insurance only) for them to over ride the
current process that isn't working

I also got my first escrow check for a child with insurance that only pays 60% of SOME visits (the odd ones- dated for the month of June -nothing paid on any before or after)...so, this means that I am "only" owed $3500 now. I am not taking any more ei kids at all after Aug 31. So sad. I've had to take another job that does pay me every two weeks...and have had to borrow money, not pay my college loan etc while the state "made me" work for nothing all this time.  I don't understand the 25% "thing" they emailed about and don't know if I should sign anything or not.  I did email BEI and tell them that I am not a lawyer so I'd appreciate them telling me in layman's term what the 25% was about.
