    Step 1: Create Your Character

The first step is to create your character. You can use the Character Creator tool in iClone 8 to design and customize your own character from scratch or use one of the presets available. You can also import your own character models from other software or platforms.

To launch the Character Creator tool, go to the Tools menu and select Character Creator. You will see a window like this:

You can use the tabs on the left side to switch between different modes, such as Morphs, SkinGen, Clothes, Hair, Accessories, etc. You can also use the sliders and buttons on the right side to adjust various parameters, such as shape, size, color, texture, etc. You can also use the buttons on the bottom to preview different poses and expressions.

For example, if you want to change the face shape of your character, you can go to the Morphs tab and select Head. You will see a list of presets that you can apply or modify. You can also use the sliders to fine-tune the details. Here is an example of changing the face shape:

You can repeat this process for other parts of your character, such as body, skin, hair, clothes, etc. You can also use the SkinGen tab to add more realistic details to your character's skin, such as pores, wrinkles, scars, tattoos, etc. Here is an example of adding skin details:

When you are happy with your character's appearance, you can save it as a project or export it as an iAvatar file. You can also send it directly to iClone 8 by clicking on the Send Character button on the top right corner. This will open iClone 8 with your character loaded in the scene.

Step 2: Access and Manage Your Assets

The next step is to access and manage your assets. You can use the Smart Gallery tool in iClone 8 to browse and download thousands of assets from Reallusion's online library or your own local folders. You can also use the Content Manager panel to organize and apply your assets in iClone 8.

To launch the Smart Gallery tool, go to the Tools menu and select Smart Gallery. You will see a window like this:
