1. I think as it stands the Board has made up their mind and will
place the Academy at Heritage. I believe the residents of Heritage,
Meadowvale, and Fisher should go ahead and get the largest speed bumps
possible as close as possible installed on their streets.
2. Keep the signs wrong locations, right school in your yards for now.
However, put up a sign saying essentially you are not welcome in our
neighborhood when the school starts in session.
3. When the school is in session, drive as often and as slow as
possible down Heritage, Meadowvale and Fisher from 7 to 8 am and from
230 to 330 pm (or whatever the school hours turn out to be).
4. There are already "no parking" signs on the streets around the
Heritage Center. Call the police if you see those violated.
5. Once that school is in session, park your cars on the streets
(where legal) as close to the school as possible.
6. Put signs on your car to say essentially you are not welcome in our
neighborhood. They make magnetic ones you can take off easily.
7. For those that live directly by the school, install an outdoor
speaker system and put on "music" to play at legal levels all day.
8. Fence off your front and back yards and put up "no trespassing"
sign.
Other ideas to come.
