Before you buy.
+AMSOIL's technical weenies stated in their response to my query:
>AMSOIL synthetic motorcycle oils are recommended for all V-twin and
other motorcycle engines requiring an API CD, SG-CG of SH-CD oil. They
are wet clutch compatible and contain no friction modifiers. Following
Victory's requirements as closely as possible would indicate that
AMSOIL 10W40 motorcycle oil would be the recommended choice.<
Therefore, I ordered 24 quarts of AMF-01 - SAE 10W-40 Synthetic High
Performance Motorcycle Engine Oil. It's already been delivered (seems
to be a great company to deal with so far) but I've not yet switched
over. It'll be approximately two weeks until I need to do my ~61,500
oil change.
Note that this is a full synthetic, but it meets stated requirements
and therefore will not void the warranty. I'm unsure of its
performance yet though...
What's with your dealer not having oil in stock?

While I was there I picked up the chrome grill for the oil cooler for
her for Xmas. She's having a hard time deciding what she wants done
with that SC as far as dressing it up but she did mention she wanted
that.

Something must be going on. Tim, remember on our trip we stopped at a
dealer down south. It was Gregory Polaris, they were having a problem
getting oil from Victory. Last time I got oil from Gateway they were
low. Just a thought.
It could be as simple as the dealer running out of stock, but I doubt
that the stock is being depleted quickly enough not to replace it in
timely fashion.
Minor but necessary items like this being out of stock at a dealership
cause the buyer to look elsewhere. In my instance, I needed to obtain
it at another dealership.

Am hoping this is not going to be an on-going problem getting the oil
cause that would be even more of a temptation to switch to the Amzoil.
