Before you buy.
My first with Joyce was after church on a Sunday night - the typical
TBC scene. We went to Farrell's...in December. 12/18/77 to be exact.
While we were eating, Terri Lollar comes and sits down next to me to
discuss her relationship with Roger Holt (who was dating Terri at the
time). How intimate! I don't think I'd ever talked with Terri before
that, and I can't remember doing so afterward either. Anyway, I took
Joyce to a friend of her family's house because her parents were there
at a party. We went downstairs and played pool and BattleShip and
talked about stuff. I asked her if I could kiss her (and unlike a
nameless other) she said yes. Then I didn't call her for a week (how
typical of me!). We went out again the following Sunday (yup, 12/25)
and I knew she was "the one". I called a little more frequently after
that.
Now, are we talking 1st dates with our mates? or 1st date in our entire
life? We never dated, but I kissed Bob's cousin Tim Atkinson (so did
Margaret--but not at the same time.) He was the worse kisser ever. I
warned Margaret beforehand, but she didn't believe me. Had to find out
for herself.
My first 1st date with Brian was 9-25-81 at the Highland House. I
didn't realize it was a date. I just thought it was two friends going
out. Even brought money to pay for my share. Our second 1st date was
12-11-97, we went to The Nutcracker, our daughter was in it.
Hugs and Kisses,
Moe
Mark & I had our first date Labor Day weekend, 1985. Actually, I was
engaged to his friend at the time and the date was quite by accident.
Oh well, some accidents are good!
I know, I guess that's why it didn't last.

I'll be sure to share that with Tim. ;)

*NO WAY* Really???? :)
March 1991 - Steve and I worked at the same manufacturing facility. He
was an inspector and worked afternoons. I was the secretary for Quality
Assurance. He bumped to days and visited me every day the
following week in my office during his lunch hour. We both had to work
on Saturday. He asked me to go out with him that evening. We went to
the Main Street Comedy Club in Ann Arbor. Poor guy, he had to explain
some of the jokes to me 'cuz I just didn't get them! (I lived a
sheltered life, ya know!) I had a virgin banana daiquiri and he had a
long island iced tea. Afterwards, we went to Big Boy's. I let him give
me a kiss goodnight...even though he didn't ask!
Carol
No, just two. ;)
Hey, be nice, Bob. I'm sure that he's improved with practice. I mean,
he would had to have, right Moe? BTW, remember that U of M sweater he
always used to wear? He told Moe that the "M" stood for Maureen... you
can guess what he told me. Good thing we were comparing notes!
>>>> Jill, don't you know you can't call it NY if it wasn't in "The
City?" Heyyyy! What 'bout it!!??
