Moderator Bob,

Kindly please explain the quote in the Announcement portion of the
opening page?! It's source? It's meaning? It's DEEPER meaning? You
may have already done this, but I'm trying to catch up.

Paul

It's a quote from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", in which Sir
Bedevere is helping the townsfolk determine whether or not a young lady
is a witch.

While it, of course, has no actual meaning, I imagine that a DEEPER
meaning could indeed be inferred (or is it implied?): most people
cannot and/or are unwilling to think clearly about matters, but are all
too ready to judge others as unfit according to their broken reasoning
power. How's that?

That's as good an answer as any! I thought the quote
sounded "Pythonesque" but wasn't sure. I'll file it away for use when
I need to make a meaningless point.

I am so glad that I wasn't the only one who didn't understand it. But
I didn't want to be the first to admit it. Thanks for being the first
Paul!!!

Marsha,

I've rarely ever understood Bob so I have grown accustomed to having to
aks him for clarification on most of what he says. That's why I like
him so much.

If ya had a poll for us to guess where the quote came from, I would have
voted Monty Python. Thanks for clearing it up!
