It has been said that when Charles becomes king, the whole Coronation
service will be changed to embrace all religions. Many applaud this,
not realising that for this to happen, the Bill of Rights and the
Protestant Succession would also have to be abolished.
The Prince of Wales has agreed to have a centre for Islamic Studies at
Oxford University, and becoming its patron. The tragic events that have
surrounded the entire Royal Family in recent years, are purposeful
judgements, designed to encourage the whole House of David to repent
and acknowledge Christ as Lord. We must always remember that Privy
Councillors and advisors to the Royal Family at the present time are
those working for their destruction.
What does all this mean? Prophetic students know that 9th December 1917
was the deliverance of Jerusalem and also the end of the second period
of the times of the Gentiles, which lasted for 2,520 years, having
commenced in 604 BC. As 1260 + 30=1290, we can expect this date, which
was the Hebrew year AM 5708=1947/8 to have special significance. In
1948 the Zionist state of Israel was set up. Further understanding of
Daniel’s prophecies reveal another period of 45 years, which when added
to 1290=1335, Daniel 12:12, “Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to
the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.”
This period of 45 years begins the Hebrew year A.M.5753= 1992/3, said
to be a year of blessing. Surprisingly the only event at that time was
the treaty with Israel and the PLO.
The restoration of the Biblical Monarchy in Judah reminds us that God
can do the same again, 2Kings 11:1214 & 17, “And he (Jehoiada, the
High Priest) brought forth the king’s son (Joash), and put the crown
upon him, and gave him the testimony (book of the law, just as our own
Queen was given a Bible); and they made him king, and anointed him; and
they clapped their hands, and said, God save the king, And when
Athaliah heard the noise of the guard and of the people. She came to
the people into the temple of the Lord. And when she looked, behold,
the king stood by a pillar (or at his pillar, i.e. Jacob’s pillar
stone), as the manner was, and the princes and trumpeters by the king,
and all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew with trumpets: and
Athaliah rent her clothes, and cried, Treason, Treason ... And Jehoiada
made a covenant between the Lord and the king and the people, that they
should be the Lord’s people; between the King also and the people.” The
similarity of this to our own coronation service is truly remarkable,
and the outcome in this instance was revival, for the people turned
back to God.
History has shown that the throne of David, which is the throne of
Christ, is abhorred by the world. The Dark Ages in Britain began when
King John surrendered the crown of Britain to the Papal Legate, laying
the crown at his feet or 15th May 1213. His name was Pandolpho, and his
hatred of that crown was so great that he first kicked it in the dust
and then picked it up and placed it on John’s head. The Dark Ages under
the Roman Catholic Church continued until the Reformation.
The Reformation caused the throne to become appraised by Christ.
Although Edward VI was only ten when he became king, he was a devout
born again Christian Protestant, and was determined to ensure that his
kingdom also followed Protestant Principles. He founded numerous
grammarschools to ensure the teaching of the Protestant Reformed
Faith. He also converted Grey Friar’s Monastery into Christ’s Hospital.
At his coronation service he pointed out to his advisers that the
service was lacking, for he declared there were only three swords
carried during the service and one was missing. They asked, “What do
you mean, your
Majesty? He replied, “The sword of the Spirit which is the word of God,
the Holy Bible, which is preferred before all swords, for without it we
are nothing and can do nothing, and Form it we are what we are this
day, and he that rules without the Sword of the Spirit cannot be called
a King! Under it we ought to live, to fight, to govern the people and
to perform our duties. From the Bible alone we obtain our power, our
virtue and our salvation as well
As our divine strength.”
The Bible has been carried at every coronation service since, other
than that of Mary Tudor. The Archbishop of Canterbury and Moderator of
the Church of Scotland presented to our Queen, following the oath. The
Archbishop said, “Our Gracious Queen: to keep your Majesty ever mindful
of he law and the Gospel of God as rule for the whole life and
government of Christian princes, we present you with this Book, the
most valuable thing this world affords.” The Moderator of the Church of
Scotland then said, “Here is wisdom; this is the Royal Law; these are
the lively oracles God.”
When King James VI of Scotland became King James I of Great Britain, in
1603, in 1604 he appointed 47 scholars to prepare the Authorised
Version in the Jerusalem Chamber of Westminster Abbey, which is
panelled with Cedar Wood from Lebanon. The Royal Family holds the
copyright of this Bible.
It is an interesting fact that when Cruden produced his famous
concordance of the Authorised Version in 1761, he dedicated it to King
George III, and wrote, “May the Great God be the guide of your life,
that it may be said that King George III hath been like an Hezekiah to
our British Israel.”
The greatest source of hatred towards the British Monarchy comes from
the Roman Catholic Church. King James II, as a Papist, represented the
Assyrian, who historically was allowed up by Babylon, now represented
by the Papacy. As ardent Roman Catholic, this king tried to reverse the
Reformation, and restore the dominion of Papal Rome in his kingdom.
In April 1687 he published his first “Declaration of Indulgence”
claiming “to grant all his subjects free exercise of their religion, in
addition to perfect enjoyment their property.” At the same time he
cancelled the Test and the Oaths of Supremacy and Allegiance, setting
himself above the law. The Archbishop of Canterbury and six other
Bishops immediately opposed him. They were sent to prison in the Tower
of London, but later released by the Courts as “Not Guilty of Seditious
libel”.
Eight principle men, or eight Dukes of men, including as on their
number, the eighth person who was Lord Churchill, invited the
Protestant daughter of James II and her husband William of Orange,
Prince and Governor of the Neverthelands defend the liberties of
England. When they acceded to Bill of Rights and the Protestant
Succession, they were granted joint sovereignty.
These events accomplished by God have been described as “The Glorious
Revolution,” and were prophesied in detail by the Prophet Micah, in
chapter 5. He describes the Imperial Greatness of Britain as well as
the present decline, and also the invincibility of Great Britain
against invasions from Europe. Read these events described about 2,437
years ago fulfilled in vivid detail, Micah 5:5 “And this [man] shall be
the peace, (King William of Orange) when the Assyrian (Papist, James
II) shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces,
(or seats of Government) then shall we raise against him seven
shepherds, and eight principal men.”(NWT “eight Dukes of Men which they
were. People may well think it is not possible to read prophecy in this
way, and I suggest you read Micah 5 through several time to be amazed
at the minute details as I have been.
The Good News about the British Monarchy is that it will be a perfected
throne. God has told us that He will save every member of David’s Royal
House, Zechariah 12:10 “And I will pour upon the house of David, and
upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of
supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and
they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for [his] only [son], and
shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his]
firstborn.” In Prophecy Jerusalem could refer to Westminster where the
King or Queen of Israel resides.
When the prophet uttered these words the temple was being built, but as
far as Jerusalem in Palestine was concerned, there were no prospects of
a Davidic king again ruling in that city. The prophet himself may not
have realised that he was writing about prophetic Jerusalem, in the
appointed place, promised to David in these British Isles afar off
north west of Palestine, in Westminster, London.
We reminded of the Glastonbury Hymn by William Blake:
And did those Feet in ancient time
Walk upon England’s mountains green?
And was the Holy Lamb of God
On England’s pleasant pastures seen?
And did the Countenance Divine
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here
Among those dark Satanic mills?
Bring me my bow of burning gold!
Bring me my arrows of desire!
Bring me my spear! 0 clouds unfold!
Bring me my chariot of fire!
I will not cease from mental fight;
Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand
Till I have built Jerusalem
In England’s green and pleasant land.
The salvation of the House of David and their deliverance from sin
may come about soon after war with Europe. I had thought this period of
blessing was to be in the year 1335 is as we have shown the Hebrew year
AM 5753, which began on Monday 28th September 1992 and ended on
Wednesday 15th September 1993. I was mistaken.
Revival is coming to our Israel lands, and where better for the work to
begin, than in
Buckingham Palace itself.
The work of grace must commence with Her Majesty the Queen, for the
seed of the gospel was sown in her young art by her godly father when
she was just a child. One day as a young teenager, she was showing
several young friends around Windsor Castle. They saw Hermon Hunt’s
famous picture of Christ, and one of her friends asked, “Who is that?”
She replied thoughtfully, “Oh, that is Daddy’s King.
We are reminded of her godly father’s reaction after the declaration of
war in 1939, during his Christmas broadcast referred to the poem by M.
Louise Haskins: “And I said to the man who stood at the gate of the
year, “Give me a light that 1 may tread safely into the unknown,” And
he replied, “Go into the darkness and put your hand into the hand of
God. That will be to you better than light, and safer than a known way.”
This godly king fell asleep in Christ at the age of only 56 He was a
modest, retiring man, greatly respected and admired. His reign had
carried him through the rigours of World War II the election of a
Socialist Government, and the dissolution of the world wide colonial
empire, as prophesied in Daniel’s last chapter. The British people
flocked to their churches to worship, prey, and to seek comfort and
hope.
The king had been a true believer in Christ, and was responsible for
calling a National Day of Prayer on May 26th 1940, which resulted in
the miracle of Dunkirk. The number of service men evacuated from
Dunkirk was 335,000. While British service men were brought to safety
on rafts, boats, ships and a great variety of other crafts, there was a
most usual calm on the Channel. At the same time, enemy planes were
grounded by a great storm over Flanders. There can be doubt that this
was Divine Intervention that changed the course of the war.
Many people, having considered the lack of morality and increase of
crime and terrorism throughout the nation, have written to Her Majesty
the Queen, requesting her to call a National Day of Prayer. Our So
Sovereign has passed these letters on to the Prime Minister, who has
always replied saying, “The situation does not demand.” When Europe
invades our shore again perhaps he will do the right thing.
In the past other Sovereigns have acknowledged the Lord Jesus Christ as
Saviour and Lord of their lives. Queen Victoria was one who had
experienced, saving grace in her in her life. On one occasion after
listening to the sermon in St. Paul’s Cathedral, she asked her chaplain
this question, “Can one be absolutely sure in this life of eternal
safety?” He replied that he knew no way one could be absolutely sure.
This was published in court news and came the attention of a minister
named John Townsend. After praying much, he wrote a letter to the
Queen, humbly, suggesting she would find the answers’ to her question
in Romans 3:16 & Romans 10:910.
Queen replied to his letter, and wrote as follows: “Your letter of
recent date was received, and in reply, I state that I have carefully
read the portions of Scriptures referred to. I believe in the finished
work of Christ at Calvary for me, and trust by God’s grace to meet you
in that place of which He said, ‘I go to prepare, a place for you.”

This great Queen longed that Christ might come in her day, so that she
could have the privilege of laying down her crown at His feet. She
fervently believed that she belonged to the House of David, of tracing
her lineage through Queen Tamer Tea Tephi, right back to King David of
Israel. This chart can be seen in Windsor Castle, providing it was not
destroyed in the fire. One day she told an Indian Prince that the
secret of Britain’s greatness was the Bible.
Another King and Queen who both had testimonies were the late King
George V and his wife, Queen Mary. One day Queen Mary was given a
booklet called “Safety, Certainty and Enjoyment,” by her lady in
waiting. She was so impressed by what she read that she passed it on to
her husband who also reed it. King George V was also deeply impressed
by what he read, and realising the great truths it contained. They both
sent for the author, George Cutting, arranging for him to visit them.
He did so, and did not leave until he was convinced the King and Queen
were sure of their salvation.
After this, Queen Mary always kept a supply of the booklets in her
handbag, and used them whenever she felt directed to do so by the Holy
Spirit.
Our Queen is a believer as is her mother who professes to be a born
again Protestant Christian. Every Christian has a duty to pray for the
Royal Family. The National Anthem and the Book of Common Prayer both
contain the words, “God save the Queen.” We need to plead with the
Lord, if need be with tears in our eyes, for God to save the whole
Royal Family.
God has given us a sevenfold witness of this in Psalm 89:28-37, “My
mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand
fast with him. His seed also will I make [to endure] forever, and his
throne as the days of heaven. If his children forsake my law, and walk
not in my judgments; If they break my statutes, and keep not my
commandments; Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and
their iniquity with stripes. Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not
utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail. My covenant
will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Once
have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David. His seed
shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me. It shall be
established for ever as the moon, and [as] a faithful witness in
heaven. Selah.”
This sevenfold witness of the perpetual throne of David on earth are
heaven, or the heavens, the earth, the day and the night, the sun and
the moon, and the stars. As these in all be observed by sight, so it is
required that the throne of David can also be observed as still
existing on earth. Before Jesus becomes our Sovereign, the Queen and
her subjects must experience revival, so that they will all be watching
and waiting for His return. Those who do so have been promised that
they will be caught up to meet Him in the air, and so will be with Him
as He comes first to subdue His enemies in judgement, and then take
control of His throne in Westminster, where He will remain until
Jerusalem is rebuilt.
This is explained in the angel’s words to Mary, Luke 1:3233, “He shall
be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God
shall give unto him the throne of his father David: and he shall reign
over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom there shall be no
end.” The throne will finally be established in Jerusalem, Zechariah
14:9, “And the Lord shall be king over all the earth.” END OF ARTICLE
