"THE COVENANT OF OLAHM AND THE APPOINTED PLACE"

PART TWO

Literal translation by Dr. John Thomas.

The literal Hebrew rendering vividly illuminates the meaning of these
verses in 2 Samuel 7:10-16, "And I will appoint a place for My people
Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place and
be troubled no more; nor shall the children of wickedness afflict them
any more, as at first, even from the day when I commanded judges to be
over My people Israel; and I will cause you to rest from all your
enemies. And Yahweh shall declare to thee that Yahweh will make for
thee a house. When thy days be completed, and thou hast slept with thy
fathers, I will cause to raise up after thee thy seed who shall proceed
out of thy bowels; and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a
house for my name; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom, ad-
olahm, during the hidden period; that is, until the Millennium. I will
be to him for a father, and he shall be to me for a son; whom, in his
being caused to bow down, I will chasten with a sceptre of men, and
with stripes from the sons of Adam; but my mercy I will not take from
as that I put away from with Saul, whom I removed from before thee. And
thy house and thy kingdom shall be established during the Olahm before
thy face; thy throne shall be set up for the Olahm.(i.e., the hidden
period)."

The Eternal Dynasty of David.

Dr. John Thomas wrote this translation, and failed to understand that
during the hidden period, the throne and kingdom would continue until
the Millennium. Why is it that so many Bible Scholars are determined to
ignore the throne of David? They insist contrary to Scripture that the
Covenant with David was conditional upon obedience of his descendants,
2 Samuel 7:15-16, "But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I
took [it] from Saul, whom I put away before thee. And thine house and
thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall
be established for ever."

Young’s Literal Translation.

Here is the reading as translated in Young’s Literal Translation, 2
Samuel 7:10-16, "And I have appointed a place for My people, for
Israel, and have planted it, and it hath tabernacled in its place, and
it is not troubled any more, and the sons of perverseness do not add to
afflict it any more, as in the beginning, even from the day that I
appointed judges over My people Israel; and I have given rest to thee
from all thine enemies, and Jehovah hath declared to thee that Jehovah
doth make for thee a house. When thy days are full, and thou hast lain
with thy fathers, then I have raised up thy seed after thee which goeth
out from thy bowels, and have established his kingdom; He doth build a
house for My Name, and I have established the throne of his kingdom
unto the age. I am to him for a father, and he is to Me for a son; whom
in his dealings perversely I have even reproved with a rod of men, and
with strokes of the sons of Adam, and My kindness doth not turn aside
from him, as I turned it aside from Saul, whom I turned aside from
before thee, and stedfast [is] thy house and thy kingdom unto the age
before thee, thy throne is established unto the age."

The Hidden Period.

However, here we have a literal rendering in which the translation
of "forever," is "ad-olahm," or "during the hidden period." According
to Strong’s Concordance "forever" and "everlasting" are translations of
owlam (ô-lawm’) or ‘ôlâm (o-lawm) from ‘âlam (aw-lam’) meaning "to veil
from sight," i.e. conceal," or "concealed, i.e. "the vanishing point."
It has always been taken for granted that the word only
means "everlasting," and "forever." In relation to the covenant with
David this revelation is most interesting, as it suggests a connection
between "the appointed place" and "the hidden period." Israel has been
hidden from the world in a place other than Palestine called "the
appointed place" since the fall of Jerusalem in 587/6 BC. The throne is
set up for or in preparation for the Olahm, i.e., for or until the
Millennium. It does not mean the throne will not exist until the
Millennium. If it did, the prophecy of Jeremiah would be incorrect.

The Throne of David on Earth to be the Inheritance of the Messiah.

The words of Gabriel to Mary will be fulfilled when Messiah comes to
claim a literal throne on earth, Luke 1:32-33, "He shall be great, and
shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give
unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the
house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end."

Speaking of this covenant David himself says in 2 Samuel 23:5 "Although
my house [be] not so with God; yet he hath made with me an everlasting
covenant, ordered in all [things], and sure: for [this is] all my
salvation, and all [my] desire, although he make [it] not to grow."The
literal Hebrew rendering is as follows, "Though my house is not so with
AIL (Eloah of the heavens), yet he hath appointed for me THE COVENANT
OF OLAHM, ordered in everything and sure: truly this is all my
salvation, and all my delight, though he cause it not to spring forth."

The Jews have not fulfilled the Promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

It can be seen here that the commencement and duration of this period
was hidden even from David. It is inconceivable that the estimated
15,281,012 Jews in the world represent the whole House of Jacob. Only
about 5% of these Jews can claim to even be descendants of Judah,
Benjamin and Levi. We know that only 42,000 Jews returned from
Babylonian exile. In contrast a population from 46 fortified cities of
Judah of 200,150, which had also been taken into Assyrian captivity
with the Northern Kingdom, during the reign of King Hezekiah. God would
have failed in His promises to Jacob and David if only the Jews
represent Israel. We are to look for the true descendants of Jacob and
David in the appointed place far away to the north-west of Palestine.
Let it be noted before we leave this concept of the Hidden Period, that
although Israel is not aware of her identity, her enemies know very
well which nations represent the House of Jacob.

The Zionists are the Enemies of Israel.

This is evident from Psalm 83:1-5, <A Song [or] Psalm of Asaph.> "Keep
not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have
lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people,
and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us
cut them off from [being] a nation; that the name of Israel may be no
more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent:
they are confederate against thee." The Jews, although a remnant, are
too prominent to ever be described here as God’s Hidden Ones. They are
in fact those who have deliberately plotted to destroy true
Israel.However they will not succeed.

The Final Gathering of Representatives from all Israel to the New City
of Jerusalem.

It should also be noted that the gathering of Israel to the appointed
place is not the final gathering of representatives from Judah and
Israel. These are to enter the Promised Land, but this is to take place
at the end of the age, after the city of Jerusalem has been rebuilt.
These circumstances are described in Isaiah 11:11-13, "And it shall
come to pass in that day, [that] the Lord shall set his hand again the
second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left,
from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from
Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the
sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble
the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from
the Four Corners of the earth. The envy also of Ephraim shall depart,
and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy
Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim."

The envy of the Two Houses of Israel.

There is no envy between Ephraim and Jewry. I do not think Ephraim has
ever been envious of Jewry now under the wing of Manasseh. Both nations
are blissfully ignorant of the monetary shackles placed on them by
Jewish Bankers. There has always been envy between Scotland (Kingdom of
Judah) and Ephraim (Kingdom of England). Since the establishment of the
Assembly or Parliament in Scotland and the appointment of the new First
Minister, we can expect these problems to increase. When the people of
Scotland find that they will have to pay for this Assembly they will
not be very happy. It is certain that Scotland will demand all Value
Added Taxes from the Scottish oil products. Will England agree to this?
It is very unlikely. The envy of Ulster (Judah) and Ephraim will also
increase. It is unlikely that there will ever be a satisfactory
settlement despite the fact Ulster already has her new Assembly and
First Minister, without the necessary agreements. The same will
probably apply to Wales.

This gathering will be to the newly built city of Jerusalem, and the
whole promised land from the Nile to the Euphrates, bordered by the
Mediterranean Sea in the west, and the desert in the east

True Israel in the afar off Isles to the North and West of Palestine.

These verses are important because they identify the main location of
Israel. The expression "the islands of the sea" is redundant unless
acknowledged that the Hebrew word for sea, "yâm" pronounced "yawm"
meaning "a sea," "sea," "a large river," "the west," or "west." In this
context the correct translation is "islands of the west."

Israel is not to be found in the islands of the Mediterranean, for the
afar off islands of the west can only refer to the British Isles.
Isaiah tells us also that they are north and west of Palestine, as well
being afar off. This is Isaiah 49: & I2, "Listen 0 isles, unto me; and
hearken, ye peoples, from far ... Behold, these shall come from far;
and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the
land of Sinim." Sinim is the Roman "Ultima Thule" which
means "Uttermost part of the earth" and referred to Britain. These
prophecies in Isaiah are too numerous to quote, but it must be
emphasised that the first immigrants to these islands knew their
identity.

The Protocols of Zion and One World Government.

Those who have read the "Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion" will
see that the Zionists know when to find members of the House of David.
They have said in Protocol XXIV 3. "Certain members of the seed of
David will prepare the kings and their heirs, selecting not right by
heritage but by eminent capacities, inducting them into the most secret
mysteries of the political, into schemes of government, but providing
always that none may come to a knowledge of the secrets. The object of
this mode of action is that all may know that government cannot be
entrusted to those who have not been inducted into the secret places of
its art." Concerning the king we are told in Protocol XXIV 14. "The
King of the Jews must not be at the mercy of his passions, and
especially of sensuality." Then again in XXIV 15. "The prop of humanity
in the person of the supreme lord of all the world of the Holy seed of
David must sacrifice to his people all personal inclinations." Finally
we are told he will also become King of Europe and Patriarch of the
World in Protocol XV 23. "When the King of Israel sets upon his sacred
head the crown offered him by Europe he will become patriarch of the
world."

This is the plan of those who want One World Government. We do not know
whether Yahweh will permit this. We already know it is not according to
His plan that Israel should be a kingdom again, with Jewry in control,
Matthew 21:43 "Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be
taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits
thereof." This was part of their punishment for rejecting Jesus Christ
as their Messiah.

Ephraim and Manasseh to be Punished.

The disobedience of Ephraim and Manasseh concerning identity with
Babylon may mean these two great Israel nations will be punished. They
may even be forced to accept this World Government. We know they will
be delivered from this in Micah 4:10 "Be in pain, and labour to bring
forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou
go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou
shalt go [even] to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the
LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies."

Before the invasion of the Saxons the writer Gildas who lived during
king Arthur’s reign, towards the end of the reign of Tiberius Caesar in
Rome, tried to explain why God had permitted the Saxons to enter the
Celtic realms. He explained that it was "to the end that Our Lord might
in this land try after His accustomed manner these His Israelites,
whether they loved him or not." He failed to realise that the Saxons
were also "Isaac’s sons.

Israel’s New Home.

The Appointed Place and the Wilderness of the People.

The appointed place is described in five ways numbered accordingly in 2
Samuel 7:10 "Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and
will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move
no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any
more, as beforetime (better formerly)" This is how the events can be
set out:Moreover I will appoint a place for My people Israel. (1) The
place appointed where I will plant them. (2) Planted there by God that
they may dwell in a place of their own.. (3) A Place of their own from
which they will move no more. (4) A Permanent home, for neither shall
the children of wickedness afflict them anymore as aforetime (or
formerly). (5) This Protection is secured. It can be seen that there is
no possible way for this text to apply to Palestine in Israel.

The Commentary by Gill.

Here is the reading by the great commentator Gill who had no
understanding of the Israel Identity message. 2 Samuel 7:10, "Moreover,
I will appoint a place for my people Israel, &c.] The land of Canaan:
this the Lord had of old appointed to them, and had introduced them
into and settled them in it, but not entirely and alone; in many places
the Canaanites had inhabited; but now they should be expelled, and the
Israelites should have the place to themselves: and will plant them; so
that they shall take root and flourish, and continue: that they may
dwell in a place of their own; and not as they dwelt in Egypt, in a
land that was not theirs; or "under themselves" {x}; under their own
rulers and governors: and move no more; as they did in the times of the
judges, when, sinning against God, they were often delivered into their
enemies' hands, and carried captives: neither shall the children of
wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime; when in Egypt, and in
the times of the judges; all which is supposed, provided they did not
depart from the Lord, but abode by his word, worship, and ordinances,
and obeyed his will; for it was by their obedience they held their
tenure of the land of Canaan, or all this may respect future times,
when they shall be converted to the Messiah, and return to their own
land, and ever continue in it, and never more be harassed and
distressed.

Gill has clearly not considered Jeremiah’s prophecy. This view makes a
nonsense of the text when applied to Palestine. If Gill had understood
British Israel Identity his thoughts would have been quite different
and he would have realised this verse refers to Israel’s new land from
whence they will never be expelled no matter how greatly they sin
against Yahweh. The Identity Message is a wonderful key to
understanding Bible prophecy. END OF PART TWO
