Ray Lanskey, President and longtime coach of Hot Styx Softball passed
in his sleep early Saturday morning August 12, 2000. Ray will be missed
deeply by 100's of softball players he coached over the years as well
100's in the fastpitch softball family. We will all miss him terribly
and extend our deepest sympathy to Ray's family. He was a great man and
a great coach.

On behalf of the entire California Sting organization, I would like to
extend our sympathies and condolences to the Lanskey family and Ray's
Hot Styx family. Ray was a credit to the game. He coached for the love
of the game and his love for the girls. His presence will be sorely
missed by all.May he rest in peace.
