Hey guys

I have a question here that I'm afraid I already know the answer too...
my goal now is to have my buggy fixed up good enough to bring to my
folks house in the back woods of northern Wisconsin for Christmas.
Figure there'll be a frozen lake and plenty of trails for my wanna be
snowmobile. Anyway, I would be towing the buggy via towbar. I haven't
towed it any further than 1.5 hours and this would be a 10-13 hour
trip. While I have no real reason for concern, I am a bit concerned
that of what ifs: particularly what if I have a bearing go out. I
have only replace the bearings on one of the 4 wheels. Whatdaya
think? Should I be concerned? I'd love to find a trailer to borrow,
but don't think the odds are that high. Would I be an idiot to try
this?

Josh

After you've towed for an hour..stop and feel the bearings, just like a
trailer! Remember 130 is scalding to the touch..but not BAD! Usually
all they will get is warm....

I agree with PatioMatt, stop & check things a couple of times & you
shouldn't have any problems. A friend, regularly flat tows his Buggy
from Calif to Texas & Okla. & back & he's never had any problems. It's
hotter weather down here than up there, so that's a plus. Tow it, play
with it, have fun & take it back home. ...ManxManiac

Thanks for the help guys. I think I'll hook it up and tow it for a few
hours to check it out before I attempt the trip.

Thanks again!
