Hi Guys, I just got a call from Winnie saying that my body is ready, and
I will meet them near Cape Cod, to pick it up this coming sat. She said
that it will fit in the back of a pickup truck no problem. I know Towd
dude...you did it this way...care to share any tips and advice on how
you tied it down in the truck. She also said to bring lots of padding.
What should I use for padding, and how much should I bring? Anyone done
this before? I really want to make sure it is fully secured, and will
arrive at my home (which is 2 hours from the Cape) in perfect condition.
How do you think I should do this?
Thanks for the help!

Dune buggy Jay,
Do you have a fax machine? email WInnie at manx...@cts.com with that
number. I will draw a picture of a quick frame to build that you can
clamp the body to and still have the fllr sppavce in the bed of your
truck for the hood, roll bar et al.
Thanks.

In article <8r6fqq$uq$1...@nnrp1.deja.com>,

Hi Chris, I have a fax machine at work. I was a little confused with
your message. Will winnie give me the picture of the fame to build or
you? I am not real sure this will work all that great only because the
truck I was going to use has like 6 inch tall sides around the bed. i am
not sure If they are premanently attached to it or not.

If I didn't build a mounting frame for the body..would i still be able
to carry the rest of the stuff (ie roll bar..etc) in the bed? I really
don't want to have to take 2 trips to Cape Cod. (over 2 hours each way)

Take care
Jay
