okay you all I had to do it..with snow in the forecast for Monday I had
to take the buggie out, it's cold out now, about 58 degrees and no
windshield to boot but I had to see how she ran...I must say it runs
damn good. I didn't go far just about 1/2 a mile down the mountain but I
had to see what it felt like...I lack just a few more items to finish
but it won't be long til winter is here. I now know what you all mean by
how much fun it is to drive your buggys, hopefully time will fly by and
it will warm up a little so I can drive it all the time...yes yes I know
safety is first, and I respect that but I had to do it....I'll post some
new pictures soon. Eric Sorg

eric,

I admire you.
I lived in Columbus, Ohio and we took my buggy out to get pizza at
midnight as we were having a blizzard. It was awesome. The snowflakes
were glowing in the streetlights.

I am glad that you got to do it before it got too cold!

Be careful!!!!

Hey Eric & Chris, driving your Buggy in cold weather can be quite
invigorating! I don't know if I'll ever get to drive in a snowstorm,
but, actually, I'm looking forward to driving in the rain! I hear as
long as you're moving you don't get soaked too bad, but when you stop,
break out the bar of soap, it's shower time! LOL I have some friends
that use their Sandrails in the snow, some of them have the "track"
system that connects to the drive axles, but most of them use just
plain ol' paddle tires, of course, all of them use skiis on the front!
Several years ago I went with them & it's very exciting! Eric, if you
think a half mile down the road & back is fun, just imagine when the
Buggy's finished & you keep going past that half mile mark!!!
Have Fun...ManxManiac
