While working on the review for the Barnet World Champions site, I found two
new sites which look very promising. Neither is an English language site, but
with the 'Go translator service' at http://translator.go.com/ (also
bookmarked), their secrets can be revealed to all. - MW

---

The first site is the German language 'Schach-Ereignisse' ('Chess Events') by
Erhard Frolik at...

http://www.reutlingen.netsurf.de/~frolik/index.htm

...The sections most relevant to chess history are Turnierindex ('Tournament
index') and Weltmeister ('World champions').

---

The second site is the Italian language 'Piccola guida agli scacchi su
Internet' ('Small guide to chess on the Internet') by Marco A. Alberti at...

http://www.queen.it/web4you/noprofit/keres/

...The main page blows up my Netscape browser, so I'll create the link to go
directly to the first chess history page...

http://www.queen.it/web4you/noprofit/keres/storia.html

...'La storia, personaggi e bibliografie' ('history, personages, and
bibliographies') -- the material continues through seven additional pages &
has dozens of links to subtopics.
