...India wins by a landslide!

Note that this was the second poll. The first, an 'annual poll',
appeared for the first few months in 1999. I never recorded it anywhere
else & it's long gone, but it was something original like 'Who is the
current world champion?'. The responses were Kasparov, Karpov, Fischer,
Deep Blue, & Irrelevant. I think Kasparov & Irrelevant each got two
votes, but I could be wrong.

I'll put up a new poll in a few minutes. If all goes according to plan,
it will run for a month. Don't wait to vote! - MW
