Just got a surprise:
http://www.bcmchess.co.uk/reviews/bcmrev9909.html
at the very end: Quarterly for Chess History.
(For US readers, I also find it listed in Dale Brandreth's
PP-58-G1 list - item 11).
The description sounds very interesting ... has anyone seen it?

Before you buy.
The BCM review says this was for 'Spring 1/1999' -- were there any other
issues? I searched AltaVista on '(Vlastimil NEAR Fiala) AND chess' &
came up with a few references to book reviews. One ref had an email
address for Dr. Fiala & a further link to...
...which so far gives only 'Broken pipe' error messages. I'll try the
email address. - Mark
Received a nice message which I'll share here...

... I didn't expect it to be Moravian Chess
publishing house that published these, but somehow I'm
not surprised.
Thanks!

An Alta Vista search on "Moravian Chess" returned '30 pages found'. Most
of the pages have ordering information for the various publications. The
page...
http://www.chessmail.com/books/elburg12.html
...('Latest Bookreviews of John Elburg') also has contact information
for the publisher and about a half dozen reviews of published works.
Many of the journals mentioned by Dr. Viala in his message are covered.
