Where's my million dollars??
'r'
As for the quiz item, the first one I wouldn't be able to give it a
try, because I never heard that song, although I know of it. That's
where I'm in disadvantage for living overseas, the song's never been
released here. The second item I could try, but I must admit that when
it comes to charts, I'm totally dumb!!!

Bye for now!
Is that your final answer? And is it true, did Jack Nitzche really do
the strings for "Rulers of the World"? Isn't he also the one who said
"God is Dead"? (LOL)
And didn't Goffin & King chart before "WYLMT"?

Here I go and post this trivia quiz and then was unsure of the answer.
But I think that Ricky T. does have it correct. The first chart single
was "Will You Love Me Tomorrow". And yes, Jack N. did arrange the
strings for "Rulers Of This World".
I was thinking that the first chart record by Goffin and KIng was "The
Kid Brother" recorded by Mickey and Kitty, but I think this is one of
the first that was RECORDED. Carole King's first recorded records were
in 1958 and 59, but they didn't chart. "The Kid Brother" is credited
to Goffin/King/Baker. Is Baker Kitty Baker? or Mickey Baker? Does
anybody know? It certainly is one hell of a song. I'm hopeing that
Carole records it for her new album. NOT!
