CALLING ALL OCCUPANTS OF THE CAROLE SPACESHIP:

I had an idea, and I'd like to share it with you: Why don't we all
create a Carole Trivia forum, or a space where, like the Rolling Stone
Carole King page, members could make up trivia questions and answers
about our King and have the others try them, just for fun!!!
I think that would add a little spice to our newsgroup, dontcha think?

Please, let's try and find out if and how this could be done!!!

Bye for now,

Alex

your enthusiasm is delicious. go for it. in the past, don often made
up lyric quizzes for the tribe, though of late he's been a bit missing
in action. come up with a few questions and see how much collective
knowledge really does reside here. i tell you, i thought i knew some
shit till i hooked up with this crew. they're a tough gang to fool.
maybe you can do it.
:) in peace,
m

Wow, Mary!!! Thanx a million, dear!!!
or "Thank you, you're very kind!" (sounds familiar?)

Yeah, let's go for it! Is there any special place where we can post
questions and answers? If not, here goes the first one (spread the
word, will ya?): Which song did Carole write saying she'd been highly
influenced by the Beatles?

(Gee, boy, I guess that one is for beginners!!! LOL)

Bye for now,
Alex

VENUSION DIAMOND...although so many songs on The City are definitely
Beatles inspired!

My guess is Venusion Diamond! And Alex, I too am sorry for mistaking
you for Regina. Just read the posts wrong.

Well, Mike, that's OK!

And guys, didn't I say that'd be for beginners? You all seem to
possess a Ph.D. on Carole King studies!!! LOL LOL

Now, why don't you try this one (which I think is for false beginners):

Which song from Barry Mann's "Barry Mann" does Carole sing backing
vocals on?

I Heard You Singing Your Song
Is Barry Mann the old one or his newest release? If it's the new one,
as I recall, King sang You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling with BM.
She was so mixed down, I didn't bother to listen twice, though.
Peace,
M

Hello, Mary,

Yes, that's right!

And I don't know about Barry Mann's newest release. What exactly do
you mean?
