~Mackenzie Liora - Mackenzie seems so overdone. Liora is interesting.
I don't know if I like it or not.
~Anika Paige - I know that Anika is an old name, and I've known it for
years, but nowadays all I can think is Annikin Skywalker when I hear/see
it. Like Paige, and it flows well.
~Annabel Paige - I bet I'd like Annabel if I could get the circus fat
lady out of my head, but that was her name and so that's all I think.
~Aurora Jade - Pretty. NMS, but pretty.
~Charity Lin - I don't like this at all.
~Destiny Marie - Way too much of a fluff name.
~Felicity - Very pretty!!
~Tierra Jade - Trying too hard to be cute.
~Morgan - I still like this for a boy, and cant' get used to it as a
girl's name.
~Genevieve - NMS, but I think it's pretty.
~Heaven-lee - Oh my no! I used to know a girl named Heaven, and she
spent all her time trying to live down her name and acted as bad as she
could.
~Jacinda - NMS, but not bad.
~Megaera(meg-eye-rah) - I don't usually care for made up names.
~Rhiannon - NMS.
~Brianagh - Briana, Brianna, Breanna are fine, but Brianagh? I don't
think so.
~Kyla - I think this is so cool! I also like Kyle for a girl.
~Sierra Jade - Not bad, but not too great either.
~Trinity Brielle - I've always felt that Trinity is too holy to use as a
name. To me it is the same as naming your child God or Jesus Christ.
Brielle makes a neat mn IMO.
~Mystique Marie - Can you imagine having a name like Mystique?
~Daciana - Sounds too made up.
~Divya - Looks too made up.
~Desiree - This seems so stripperish to me. It was Lucille Ball's
middle name though (I'm a Lucy fan).
~Evangelina - This is one of those names that I want to like, but I
don't. Vangie would be a cute nn.
~Gabriela - Very pretty. I prefer it to Gabrielle, and I really like
the one L spelling best.
~Isabelle - I like the spanish pn (the soft s), but no one would say it
that way. It sounds so hard other wise. Love Isa as a nn.
~Izabella - Oddly, I like Bella, but when comparing Isabelle to Isabella
(and that z is horrid IMO) it seems fatter somehow.
~Nissa - This is kind of cute. I like Nessa too.
~Natasja - It's a pretty name. Not my style, but very pretty. I like
just Tasha too.
~Odessa - This looks pretty and sounds pretty, but there is just
something about it. I'm not sure if I like it or not.
~Paradise - Stripper.
~Quinn - This is cute as a mn IMO.
~Sage - Love this as a mn!! It's so distinctive IMO>
~Vierra - I've never seen this. It could gorw on me.
~Eric - Isn't my style. Seems so plain.
~Ethan Lucas - I don't know why, but I can't stand Ethan. And Lucas is
mucus to me, but I do love Luke.
~Gideon - This is great! I love it but DH hates it, so I've no
chance to use it. I think it sounds strong. I had a friend once named
Gideon (whose brother was Noah, long before Noah became popular) and I
just fell in love with the name.
~Marc - I graduated high school with a million Marc/Marks. I just can't
stand the name anymore.
~Iain - I like this. I prefer the simpler Ian, but I have a friend
who's a purist so named her son Iain. I'm used to that spelling I just
usually go for simple spellings myself.
~Nathan - I really like this. I like Nathanael too.
~Dylan - I hate this name, I don't know why it's so popular.
~Jared - See Dylan
~Tristan - See Jared, plus this sounds so feminine to me.
~James - Good solid name. I really liked it until I had a student last
year that is about the worst kid ever. Now I hate it, but just because
of him.
~Bryan - Another one of those names I graduated with. Everyone not
named Marc/Mark was named Bryan/Brian. Heck we even had two guys named
Bryan Scott Adkins. <shudder> high school flash back <VBG>
~Jeremiah Scott - I really like Jeremiah! Especially if not shortened
to Jerry or Jeremy. It's such a great old name! I don't care for Scott
at all though.
~Noah - I really like this. I think it is great for a baby, and will
grow with him to an adult really well.
~Aaron - I was sick to death of this until recently. It's still not
something I would use, but to me it's the quintessential all-around
guy's name.
~Elijah - Love it! Right now it is the first pick for DH and me. That
may change in time, but I think it's great.
~Matthew Bryan - Matthew is such a good name. It's way popular right
now, but I still like it. Just don't call him Matt!
~Heath - I think this name sounds wimpy.
~Keegan - I think this is really cute, but once Keegan hits about 6 or 7
he will outgrow the name. Can you imagine a teenage Keegan? Or an
adult? I can't.
~Octavian - Way too overblown for me.
~Dalton - This is one of those names that I like - on someone else's
kid. I'd never use it, as it isn't my style, but at the same time, it's
cute.
~Zakariya - Love Zachariah. Even like Zechariah if you want to be
Biblically correct. But Zakariya is just atrocious!
I don't mean to be rude, but how old are you? Several of your names
make me think that you a probably a teenager. They just seem so fluffy
and what kids would like. And I don't mean it bad, a lot of them are
the names, or at least the style, I liked when I was a teen, so I was
just wondering.

My favorite of the girls' names are BRINLY and FELICITY. They're kind
of interesting and seem prettier as time goes on .
My favorite boys' names are GAVIN and ZACKERY. They're just different
enough to sound fresh and new.

I was surprised that many people had negative reactions to it!
Sometimes it seems to me that too many people like and suggest
only common names. Ah... but I guess that's why popular names
are popular. *laughing*
