As I said, Xuxa started out in porn,
and made a very smooth transition into
the children's television industry.
This is actually a fairly common
career path in Brazil (as much as I love the country,
I have to admit that it's quite sick in many ways).
You can find plenty of nude photos of Xuxa
all over the internet, if you're interested.
On her kids TV show, however, she remains
*somewhat* clothed. Recently, the self-appointed
role model for Brazilian youth had a
child out of wedlock, with much fanfare.
Perhaps the multi-millionaire Xuxa can afford
to raise a child on her own,
without a man to help her.
But the millions of adoring Brazilian girls
who are so eager to imitate her aren't quite
so fortunate.
