Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.

I was going to start performing Star Ruby, I have been unable to find
all the necessary information. I'm missing one signs of NOX and the
sign of Horus. As well as one other andI believe, also I am unsure how
to pronounce certain words (QERION) for example. Anybody have the any
good web sites that will give a majority of the information. Maybe some
real audio or video of the ritual being performed would be nice! :)

Love is the law, love under will.

The signs are also in Liber V vel Reguli (as the signs of NOX). Puella
(girl), Puer (boy), Vir (man), Mulier (mother), Mater Triumphans
(mother triumphant).
As for the names: Therion- to the East, Nuit- North, Babalon -west,
Hadit- south.
I put a copy of the ritual on Swirling Star Camp's site. click on the
lamen when you go thru, there is also an 'alt' tag there telling you
what it is.
I have seen many different interpretations of this ritual. Each
magician that I have seen do it, and the way I do it, seem to vary. The
Io Pan part, for instance, some folks do it with the signs of NOX,
whilst turning to the direction in question. Some do it all facing one
direction.
I would have no idea if it is on the net as an audio file! That would
be cool though.
There are also 2 different versions. The one in Liber 333 (Book of
Lies) uses a couple of different names and the greek there is pretty
badly mangled. (Therion, Eros, Babalon, Psyche). The second version is
from MT&P.
The Sign of Horus is the Sign of the Enterer. Arms thrown forward with
the head slightly bowed, left foot forward. As if to throw forth wings,
etc..
I hope this helps, let me know if you need more info though. I have
some stuff that might be of help; if I find it however, I will post it
here.

93!

I know we did it that way at SIB... However after researching it,
it doesn't seem that Mater Triumphans is one of the N.O.X. signs used
in the Star Ruby.
Yeah..it's used with the N.O.X. signs in Reguli to symbolize the birth
of the child..the current, what have you.
But I've yet to come across a text on the Star Ruby which indicates
to use M.T. Of course, I could be wrong..

Just my 93 cents..

Riordan, don't you remember? In the NOX signs, just like the LVX
signs, there are 4 signs, not 3. Yes, the MT sign is used at the end of
the Star Ruby. I have ALWAYS done it that way (at least)..
In LVX- Osiris Slain, Mourning of Isis, Apophis, Osiris Risen
IN NOX- girl, boy, man, woman, woman w/ child
Interesting eh?

All described in detail in the text of Liber Reguli.

Sign of the Enterer. Left foot advanced about a half step, arms
outstretched in front of you as if projecting (which you are).

QERION is ususlly what happens when something written in symbol font is
displayed in straight text as ASCII, since the Q is the character
assigned the graphic for theta in symbol.

THERION
NUIT
BABALON
HADIT

Are the words used in each quarter.

I wonder...it might end up with every one starting to do it the same
way, which would be a shame, given all the different ways I've seen
Star Ruby done over the years.
