Ok, here is a question that has been rattling around in my brain.
I tried the Resh thing for alittle while (three months) and got some
interesting results... nothing completely verifible in my mind, as other
events occuring at the time could also have been responsible for the
results....However, based upon my findings, I have been considering
catering the adorations to a specific purpose.
What if rather than the "times of the day".... The adorations were
performed at the times of a specific function/ or more in sinc with
personal biorhythms?..... Like say - for dieting, prior to eating? or
after eating?
And what if the adorations were designed for a specific deity whose
general purpose/nature are congruient with the intent of the ritual?
That being said, what I am looking for are suggestions as to which diety
I should adore for dieting. ... (a god/goddess of famine, or
restraint....or contraint, or moderation.... balance....)
I would truly appreciate thoughts and or suggestions and reference
materials.....

Interesting concept... the Godform I best think of is the Buddha.
Now, ordinarily he's shown as either a fat man (which history/myth
doesn't really support)... or an ascetic, which he was for a period.
Once he reached enlightenment, he preached the Middle Path..moderation.
But in his form as an ascetic, he definitely would still fit your model
of restraint. I don't know whether Resh is something you want for
this,as Resh is something specifically designed and intended for Solar
adoration. Now, if you want to still do this, perhaps in place of Will)
or even in addition to Will, adapt your own 'adorations' here. Perhaps
something adapted from Liber Astarte. Perhaps you can even adapt your
adorations to the different aspects of the Buddha.. To be honest, I
don't know enough about Buddhism to really get into it or give you
more. I'll leave that up to you.
