Well on the 25th of August I will be upgrading our SLX System to the
newest version. Over the last few years, SLX has developed many
problems do to the past SLX Admins. They never cleaned any thing.
Never checked the logs or moved the logs, did crappy development. I
had to rebuild a section for one of our teams, it was a B**CH. I was
just wondering after reading all the upgrade manuals if there is any
thing a fella should know about this wack ass system. I've been doing
a lot of testing and everything seems to upgrade ok, in a testing
environment. I hate messing with this SLX system because every time I
touch something, something else breaks. I just got over a major
problem with the Remote Users. The Workgroup Users couldn’t see the
Remote Users Activities. I called SLX Support and they told me it was
a bug and gave me the fix info. Plus, for the fix to take effect I
needed to cut new remote db's and ship them overnight to our Remote
Users.
Well its Thursday, I've had enough of this for the day. Later and have

Not much up here. I want to start upgrading to 4.0. Was what thye
sent you a Hot fix on their web site or a new bug that you found on 4.0?
The bug I have discovered is the one where remotes don't get deleted
users Notes/History.
This system is kinda wacked
