PROBLEM 1
Can anyone Help?
I have read the article by steve and would love to get hold of the
registry settings so that all history info is recorded when sending
emails via oulook. What about when receiving emails? can the history
info be written to the correct contact/account automatically using
Outlook.

When I first came accross SalesLogix it seemed really good for my
Company the ideal package to use for developing a highly customised
Information system but with all the problems and lack of support I have
had i've struggled to please our users and now back in a position of
re-evaluating SalesLogix. I would rather develop it but need some good
source of information tips and tricks that would overcome some of my
problems and convince my users.

PROBLEM 2
I am currently having is on a mailmerge document,
I can merge the standard address info etc but when I try to merge info
from the opportunity table it does not show on the merge document.
I have made the join between the oppcontact table and contact table
visible so that i can see the fields I want on my merge document.
But the data is just not appearing on the mergedoc. Can anyone out in
the right direction?

I will get the registry settings for you. What version of SLX and
Outlook are you on? By default Email sent from SLX through Outlook or
Exchange should record to SLX history. Also in Outlook you should have
an icon the allows you to move email from Outlook to SLX.
