Does anyone in this forum have experience with SupportLogix or know
anything about the latest offering from Interact Commerce Corp.
called "SalesLogix for Support"?
I have a specific issue with getting a mapped user defined field to
print in Crystal Reports. So far, neither Interact (formerly SaleLogix
Corp.) nor Seagate Software have been able to help me.
Anyone have experience with this, or something related?
Thanks.

I would assume this would be the same type of thing in Saleslogix.
I use Crystal reports a little. Can you give me a more specific
example and maybe I can test here? This is a SQL database?

Steve,
Thanks for responding. This is indeed an MS-SQL database, ver. 6.5.
Specifically, I have mapped the E-mail address field from
the "Contacts" view to the "Call Ticket" view and used USER_FIELD8 for
this. I am unable to link the information in Crystal to where the field
will populate. I am able to insert the field, but no information is
present.
The table is dbo.RESOURCES and the field name to be displayed is
EMAIL_ADDRESS. This works fine in the Call Ticket view, but I would
like to print a hard copy of the call ticket with all of the same
contact information present.
Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks.

So you are able to see the email address in the Call Ticket window that
you mapped it to correct? This seems to be the same thing we do in
Saleslogix with Architect. Now when you try to pull information from
these field in Crystal, nothing shows? That seems really strange.
Any way you could send me the Cystal Report or SQL that is generated?

Steve,
Please check your deja.com e-mail account. I sent you a message to this
e-mail address with the report attached to it. I hope this account can
handle attachments.
If not, let me know and we can try something else.

Thanks.

Steve,

Please check your deja.com e-mail address once again. I have sent two
file attachments: one is a Crystal report with the data saved, and the
other file is a Word document containing screen shots.

Let me know if you have any other ideas regarding this.
