I read on radio Sweden that a commission has come out that says Swedes
pay over 20% more for goods and services than other EU members.
We will be retiring 5months/year on a fixed income in Sweden in a
number of years. So we are very interested in the hopefully lowering of
certain taxes, especially the VAT tax on goods.
Unfortunatly I missed the full story on radio Sweden.Only got a small
written part on weekend review. Can anyone post the important parts of
that story I missed last week?
Tack, Tom
P.S. George, it would be nice if radio Sweden had an automatic email
notifier to viewers/subscribers of radio Sweden of certain types of
stories and a way to pull back a certain story. I don't know if that
would be too expensive or time consuming.
Our family would be willing to pay a small fee for such services.

Before you buy.
Just listened again to In Touch. Tack Bill for reading my talkback
question on the article I missed on the hopefully lowering cost of
goods and services.Tack for redoing the article. Nidia again you hosted
another excellent show.
Very interesting the mandatory schooling and then prepartion with other
schooling getting ready for the university system.
Hoping when we are retired and in Sweden 5/months of the year,we are
hoping our daughters will be able to go to Uppsala University and take
a few courses when they have summer recess from their colleges in the
US and then transfer the credits toward their degrees. We have not
investigated this as we have a long time to go but it is something to
hope for.
Also George, thanks for the info on the email notifier for subscribers
of stories on Radio Sweden.
I try to listen to Radio Sweden everyday but sometimes this is not
possible and sometimes I have problems with the server on the computer.
This will make it much easier to not miss important items that are of
great interest to us.
Keep well all and tack sä mycket for your help. Tom Erickson and family
