Plan to let our kids visit their pen pal near a small town near Umea.
Also plan to visit Goteborg, Stockholm, Vastervick, and show the kids
their great grandmother,s house in Lilla Farhult.
Last time I got to see a partial Viking ship and artifacts in a museum
in Vastervick. It was interesting learning about Sweden in the Viking
Age.
It would be nice to see the 3500 year old bronze dagger and learn about
Sweden in the Bronze Age. Does anyone know where the dagger will be
shown?
Im assuming since its such a rare find, the dagger will probably be
shown in one of the larger museums in a big city like Stockholm.
Tack sa mycket Tom

Nidia immediately grabbed the print-out of your post, so I think we'll
be having more about the Bronze Age dagger in a coming edition of "In
Touch With Stockholm".
Stay tuned.

Listened to In Touch with Stockholm. Great program
Thanks for answering my question on the bronze dagger. Really ejoyed
the interview with the discoverer of the dagger at its ancient secret
burial site on a road to Venice near Umea. Sounds exciting to be able
to find something so rare, fragile and of historical value.
Will stop at the Stockholm museum and see the similar dagger.
When we visit my daughters penpal at Yttervale near Umea, we will visit
the site.
Both our kids play soccer. It was interesting listening about the
soccer player returning to live in Sweden, taking much less money to
play soccer in Sweden so he could commute back and forth from Stockholm
to Goteborg to be with his child.
Thanks for a great show. Tom
