Hi everyone at Radio Sweden. I'm really looking forward to this Talkback
feature. I hope this is the right venue for the following comment. I've
been a regular listener to RadioSweden for some time now and during this
time I've been receiving your brochure on programs and frequencies, etc. in
the mail. As exciting as it is to receive, I am guessing it can be costly to
send to all your listeners. Since I am an internet user, I was wondering if
you would prefer to email correspondance or instead I can get all the same
information from your website as well? Thanks for your response, Adrien,
Canada

Hi,

This is a good question. Naturally, printing and mailing does cost us, but we
don't really mind, we've got a budget for it, and mail statistics are useful.
There's a lot to be said for having a printed color schedule. It's handy to
use, and good publicity for us.

That said, there is an advantage to checking the schedule on the website, as
it can be updated whenever we change a frequency. The printed schedules go
more and more out-of-date as the period progresses.

So there are advantages and disdvantages to both, and there's nothing to stop
you from doing both, subscribing to the schedule mailing, and checking the
website out from time to time.

You can get on the mailing list by sending a message to:

in...@rs.sr.se

The URL for our schedule is:

http://www.sr.se/rs/english/schedule

And you can get a file with the current schedule back automatic by e-mail, by
sending a message to:

eng...@rs.sr.se

I hope that answers your question.

Take care,

George Wood
