We've been hit with a double whammy of Net problems.

First, in connection with Swedish Radio's upgrade to a new companywide
network, our e-mail server has changed its name from "rs" to "p6". So
Radio Sweden e-mail addresses are now of the forms:

progr...@p6.sr.se
firstname...@p6.sr.se

Unfortunately "rs" got turned off before we could tell people about the
change, and "p6" has worked sporadically. This was unfortunate as the
plug was pulled just as we changed shortwave schedules, and many people
may have had difficulties in getting the new schedule by e-mail.

You can find it on the Web at:

http://www.sr.se/rs/english/schedule

The good news is that "p6" seems to be working now, and we have a vastly
improved address for general messages (reception reports, comments on
programs, queries, etc):

radio...@sr.se

But no sooner had the e-mail problem straightened itself out, then we
were hit with a major reduction in our bandwidth, which forced Swedish
Radio's head webmaster to close off RealAudio. The problem has eased
somewhat, and RealAudio has been restored. But our bandwidth is still
less than it has been, and Internet listeners may experience
difficulties in connecting.

Remember you can always download the files and listen afterwards, or
listen via satellite, shortwave, medium wave, or via local relays around
the world!
