GUESS WHO'S COMING TO P** IN YOUR ELEVATOR? Now that you know that
anyone can get into your building by pressing the intercom code of an
accomplice in an adjoining building you may now realize that the people
who pee in your elevator may not live in your building but only came in
to use your elevator, so that they can hurry back out to the street.

You already read about the deal that NYCHA made with Coca Cola. Ruth
Robarts, a board member of the school district of Madison, Wis., said
that ever since the district made a deal to give exclusive soda right
to Coke machines that the price of a Coke from a school vending machine
had risen to $1 from 40 cents. A few months ago there was a Diet Coke 2
liter bottles recall. Code DEC2799KME from Maspeth. 7,995 were labeled
as Diet Coke but actually contained Coca-Cola Classic, a regularly
sweetened beverage. Your friend was a diabetic you say? Keyspan made a
presentation at Queensbridge Houses regarding increasing electricity
production. Some people are opposed, but none of those people said "I
will leave my air conditioner off all summer to conserve electricity".
NYCHA may have already started dealing dirty with RCN re our
competitive cable TV and telephone and internet. NYCHA and RCN
contradicted each other in a recent Newsday story.

CHAIR MARTINEZ is LOSING CREDIBILITY: From Email "What, me worry? The
Chair, John Martinez, looked good in the beginning. He said the right
things and made us think there would be changes. As the booing at the
BIG MEETING by the Javits Center showed, he's turned out to be Ruben
Franco with a smile! And that's a shame." His credibility is further
damaged by his having NYCHA Queens Borough Director of Management
Thomas O'Brien send a letter for him to a tenant who had already
exposed O'Brien as someone who just makes up things in letters to blow
the tenants off.

A newsfeed originating with the NY Times stated that the car of a
Queensbridge tenant was used in a 21 Street murder. Tenant is a cop.
The May 31 Western Queens Gazette stated that a drug territory dispute
may have been involved. Have you noticed the dog increase at
Queensbridge Houses? NYC HA has given its approval of dogs, including
vicious pit bulls! NYCHA is oblivious to dog doo on the sidewalks or it
would evict people who don't clean up after their dogs. We hear that in
May a pit bull in a 12 Street apartment of an elderly lady who died ate
part of the dead lady's Face.

FEDERAL REGISTER: June 7, 2000 (Volume 65, Number 110): "... housing
owners and managers must allow, and requires that tenants have input on
certain management decisions." How come Queensbridge Tenant Association
President, Nina Adams is left out of some commercial lease discussions,
or IGNORED? "Local code violations are a matter governed by local law,
and individual tenant organizations can negotiate information sharing
with management on this subject, in accordance with procedures and
policies for their area." Is Queensbridge Tenant Association getting a
list of Code Violations?

Why are sports "celebrities" seemingly such low-lives? We all know
about possible neo-Nazi John Rocker. We hear that Shaquille O'Neal
scabbed to do a commercial. SAG spokesman Greg Krizman told The
Hollywood Reporter that O'Neal's name "will be added to the list of the
other athletes who have performed struck work." It is claimed that the
money from O'Neals ad will go to his Shaquille O'Neal Charitable fund.
If that is REALLY true, the commercial should have been union-made to
make sure that the charity would be PROPERLY COMPENSATED. Colin Powell
tarnished his stars and SAG/AFTRA members picketed outside of a
conference where a Colin Powell scab commercial debuted. On June 17 in
Palm Springs, CA a White actor was "Blackfaced" for a Ford Motors
commercial to create the illusion that the driver was an

shock over this Ford commercial action. Get your families across the
country to call as well.

NYCHA EMPLOYEE IMPLICATED IN SOUTH AMERICAN DRUG MONEY LAUNDRY. The
Daily News story "Nab city workers in cash launder" names "Wayne
Gladney, a $49,000-a-year Housing Authority asbestos inspector" as an
alleged participant in a launder of $5.3 million for Colombian drug
lords. Speaking of NYCHA and laundries, there will be interesting
laundry news developing at Queensbridge Houses.

FDA ANNOUNCED THESE RECALLS: Bees Queen brand Pure Chinese Honey.
Reason: the product, falsely labeled as "Pure Honey", is adulterated as
it was found to contain sugars of cane or corn origin. Thousands of
medical and first aid kits and OPERATING ROOM kits with CLINIPAD
products. Reason: Clinipad products labeled as sterile for which
Clinipad is unable to assure the sterility. Some CLINIPAD products had
Microbial contamination. Did you get a bad infection when you got your
operation? Maybe you can't read this because you're dead! King Oscar
Anchovies smelling worse then ...? Bumble Bee Seafood says some product
is decomposed. Minute Maid Premium All Natural Citrus Punch from Coca
Cola Foods. Product was contaminated with black particulate matter
originating from a disintegrated food-grade gasket. Well the gasket may
have been all natural rubber. Did you hear about the Burger King where
workers added Urine and Spit to the goods?

ON GIULIANI and POLICE: From the Village Voice we learn Giuliani's
father's (Harold) psychiatric exam painted a troubling mental portrait.
"He is egocentric to an extent where he has failed to consider the
feelings and rights of others." Harold "was disturbed by colored
people." Does that ring any bells? Harold was known as the "muscle"
behind a loan-sharking operation. AP's Timothy Williams quotes Giuliani
saying his father ``was the finest man I ever knew". His mother "liked
Mussolini and things like that." Usenet's nyc.general says that Stephen
E. Gardell, a now-retired detective with the New York City Police
Department, was leaking information to the Mob about an organized crime
investigation. Gardell also helped members of organized crime get
permits to carry firearms and special law enforcement parking permits."
Giuliani sent campaign letters to strict Christian types and said they
should give him money because he wanted to post all Ten of the
Commandments in public school classrooms. Maybe leaving out "Thou shalt
not commit adultery"? Page 383 of "Rudy! An Investigative Biography of
Rudy Giuliani" by Wayne Barrett says that Giuliani asked Schools
Chancellor Crew to cooperate with scholarship program for Catholic
schools, saying Crew had "no idea" what the church "does for me." Now
what could that be? Do Giuliani investigators dig up dirt on priests
and tell the church to keep parish priests in-line. That way there is
no outcry from parish pulpits on Giuliani's outrages. After an
undercover cop fatally shot former alter-boy Dorismond, Giuliani
released the victim's sealed juvenile record and said that Dorismond
"was no altar boy."

MAYOR GIULIANI'S PHONY CRIME STATISTICS EXPOSED! Robert Lederman
writes: "-Victims of the Central Park mob violence and numerous
witnesses have reported that a large number of police officers
stationed within yards of the hour long incident sat on benches during
the attacks, refused to take reports from witnesses, radioed no one for
help and even dissuaded some female victims from filing a police
report. ...The police do their best to dissuade you from making a
report in the first place. ... An assault gets written up as an dispute
or harassment. A store break-in becomes a report of vandalism.
Robberies gets recorded as lost property." Reports to 9-1-1 after shots
are fired at Queensbridge Houses are marked "unfounded" instead of
"unsubstantiated" because cops didn't find evidence and asked no
questions. Councilwoman Annette Robinson (D-Brooklyn) apologized for a
statement in which she wondered if the police officers on duty would
have joined in the Central Park sex debacle "were they not in uniform."
Why should she apologize? They WERE accomplices after the fact by not
responding when victims approached them! Where is the PBA re all this?
They sure as hell aren't speaking against it, are they? They would
rather attack Bruce Springsteen for using his freedom of speech. Sounds
more and more like a totalitarian type of city-state to us. The feds
should investigate what the police really have on their minds.

Baseball player John Rocker tossed a ball into Shea Stadium stands. A
New York City police captain who was close enough to the trajectory to
catch it handed it to Gregory Sweeney a nearby fan. Sweeney tossed it
back with the ball landing about 12 feet from Rocker. Seven officers
descended on Sweeney, handcuffed him and took him away. This
incompetent Captain should have arrested the instigator who could have
injured anyone in the trajectory, including the Captain and Sweeney.
Obviously even Police brass are out of control. The police ignore
reports of sexually assaulted women right under their noses but
handcuff a baseball fan for tossing a ball back into the park. What
happens when good cops try to point out the failings of bad cops? The
NYPD's internal affairs bureau conducted probes of "100 Blacks in Law
Enforcement Who Care".

Your rent could go to $1644.00 per month for a one bedroom apartment at
Queensbridge if management loses your annual income statement.
Approximately forty tenant, whose statements were not lost, will be
notified by US Department of Housing and Urban Development that they
are being investigated for fraudulent income statements. They may have
to pay five years of back rent. Watch for that letter from HUD!

Black Spectrum Theatre will have a presentation in Queensbridge park at
2:00 PM. The Queensbridge Houses Senior Center continues to have
excellent lunches.

About 5-10 years ago some Queensbridge Houses tenants picketed at US
Department of Housing and Urban Development at Federal Plaza where we
complained about HUD cover-ups of NYCHA problems and corruption. We got
some press coverage of course. Would you like to do the same thing at
New York City Housing Authority offices? We can guarantee press
coverage. You will be able to grind your axes about 14-Day Notices,
