The Villages is once again hosting the National Women's Polo
Tournament.
The 2 to 4 Goal event due to be held at Boomerang has been cancelled
and Lord Lyall is now
organising the tournament one week earlier with the help of Jolie
Liston at the Villages Polo
Club.
With this last minute change teams are invited to enter at the zero
goal level and the finals
will take place on Sunday, 10th December - the final weekend of polo at
The Villages until
next March.
The Villages is a beautiful club near Ocala, Florida about 3 hours from
Palm Beach. Because of
its unique residential location all the matches attract huge crowds and
Sunday's Final will be
televised.
The entry fee is $500 per team and entries close on the 1st of
December.
Lord and Jolie are happy to accept any players wishing to enter as
individuals and teams will
be formed when all the entries have been received.
This tournament will provide a great opportunity to give your ponies an
early season stretch
on some excellent grounds and there will be some great parties too.
