Alafia!!

Hello everyone,

I've had an intersting email from someone named Colin who has been
reading our Dreams thread in our Ile. He's very interested in Ifa, and
hopes to be initiated with his guardian Ochosi.

And he asked me a question that I was hoping no one would ask, because
it seemed too strange. Frankly, it made me feel like a freak. But with
my new-found courage, thanks to Gladys and her dream experiences with
her family, I will ask the question myself and see if anyone else has
had similar experiences. (Gladys maybe knows of some??)

It's regarding out-of-body experiences, sometimes called astral
projections. Has anyone (besides me) had them? And if so, what are
they like?

Colin mentioned walking through walls and flying through electric power
cables. Mine tend to be very stationary, and very close to my physical
body. Occasionaly I'm not in visual contact with my physical body, but
even then I'm not moving (nothing as fun as walking through walls, I'm
afraid). If I'm not in visual contact with my body, watching some
future situation involving myself as it unfolds, I'm usually up very
high, like in a tree, and looking down. There is a very large maple
tree next to my parents house, and as child I would climb up as high as
I could before the branches became too small to support me (about 50
feet about ground). And often, when I would experience such a
projection, I would instantaneously appear at the top of this tree,
looking down into my back yard, watching some future scene unfold as if
it were occurring in the back yard. Then I would instantaneously rejoin
my physical body. Because I am (I apologize for the Star Trek
terminology) "beemed back and forth", there is no traveling to and from
my physical body, which is why I've never done the "walking through
walls" bit.

So, does anyone else have experiences to share?

Blessings,

Ellen
