Hello Thorsten,
It is a fantastic pages, especially the idea and efforts in speakers
tweaks. Seems to me that a single fullrange is never enough as time
goes by. Super tweeters and subwoofers are always the solutions.
BTW, is there a guest book on the pages yet?
diytfy!
> It is a fantastic pages,
Thank you for your kind words.
BTW, those of you who want more Analogue Sound from CD, please go ahead
and build a copy of the Adagio DAC, it is very good. I bought some
Verve and Blue Note Reissues recently. On my heavily modified Pioneer
DVD player (with Legato Link) they sound okay. On the Adagio DAC they
come to life so much, it's almost frightening. We will soon b modifying
a Friends Audio Synthesis DAX for no oversampling too.

Yes, much is possible there. The use of foam damping on the Whizzer and
of Dammar or C37 laquer (C37 is very expensive but very effective too)

Yes, when applied correctly one obtains the extended response we have
gotten used to with modern HiFi while retaining the coherence of
fullrange drivers. Such system can be very satisfying and play much
music.

Not yet, but great Idea. I'll probably put one on later on today.
