1st experience with Jensen copper-in-oil cap

caps inside Alan's Pye HF25 (which is, I believe equiped with TCC oil
cap in originally) with Jensen copper-in-oil caps that Vincent just
bulk-order from Denmark.
The improvement was like night and day without any run-in!
I think now is the time to replace ALL of those "Black Beauty" in your
treasured vintage gears.

Could you please elaborate the difference between the Black Beauty and
the Jensen caps? What exactly has been improved? Is the sound smoother,
more dynamic, tighter bass, better mid range, more depth,......?

On the Pye HF25, it is like comparing Ei ECC83 with powder marking TFK
ECC803S and perhaps more.
It is as if there is a wake-up call when the sound suddenly comes back
to life. With the Black Beauty, the HF25 sound dull and unexciting
(relatively but by a very significant degree).
It is like the reverse of changing the TCC to Black Beaty on the TL50+.
Should be interesting to compare TCC and Jensen directly but I am not
sure if any of the amp I know have TCC in working condition.
