Hello, everyone.
Just a few lines to let you know that, as previously indicated, I met
with Gary this morning to record the final interview for the
forthcoming edition of 'In Conversation...'
During the course of some 90 minutes of solid interview (occasionally
interrupted for the odd sweet peanut), Gary spoke at length about his
wedding, his acting debut, his plans for the year - and much, much more.
Of course, I cannot reveal too many details here, since what Gary said
is exclusively reserved for members of his fan club ONLY.
What I can tell EVERYONE is that Gary was happy, healthy, funny and
very excited about the way the year is shaping up for him.
The new fan club CD/cassette will be sent to members during March,
probably around the middle of the month.
I am aware that, by then, Gary will already have appeared
on 'Heartbeat' - but this will only serve to make what he said about
his acting debut more relevant.
I took Gary three carrier bags of presents and various birthday/wedding
cards which members have sent in to the club for him - and he has asked
me to thank everyone for their gifts and wishes.
Finally, the website (and up-dating it more regularly in particular)
was discussed, and Gary is now planning to play a much more active part
in this respect.
But he did say one very important thing, which all visitors to this
site should, please, bear in mind: 'Sometimes there are questions which
have no answer.' In other words, don't expect responses to every rumour
about Gary and his career - and do understand that, from time to time,
there will be nothing to tell you about Gary's plans, either because
there is nothing planned or because what is planned cannot be talked
about...
