As promised, I bring you the definitive news regarding Message Board
rumour, as follows:
1): I can tell you, categorically, that the messages supposedly left by
Gary were not, of course, posted by him.
2): For future reference, if and when Gary decides to post a personal
message, then he will do so on this site's G-Mail area (which was set
up specifically for this very purpose) or, if he so chooses, on this
message board. Only such messages will have been written by Gary. Any
other messages purporting to be from Gary will be bogus...
3): Speaking of bogus messages, I know you will all be pleased to learn
that we are able to trace the author of the two so-called messages from
Gary which have been the cause of so much upset. If the person
concerned is reading this, then we will be in touch with you very
shortly.
So, let's all learn a lesson here; don't dirty or cheapen this site,
and its Message Board in particular, by spreading untrue rumour or
gossip - or be stupid enough to think that you can get away with it if
you try...

Having been away on holiday for a week, I've returned, read the recent
Message Board stuff - and, obviously, picked up on all of the
correspondence concerning messages apparently posted by Gary.
Suffice it to say that I shall be investigating further in the morning -
and posting an appropriate up-date on this page as soon as I have some
answers for everyone.
Two other quick observations:
1): Thanks to everyone for the (overwhelmingly) supportive reaction to
Gary's new album. I know it will be appreciated.
2): Regarding site up-dates...give us some rope! As much as we would
all like to be up-dating the site all the time, this is clearly not
realistic - and nobody should expect us to react to Message Board
rumour and gossip, unless it purports to be from Gary himself...
