There are a few cons happening in the next little while... Zoniecon just
finished, Midwest FurFest and Conifur are both comming up. Anyone got
any con plans?

Before anyone asks, the next con I'm attending will be Further Confusion
in January 2001, where I *hope* to have a new print set for sale. As
much as I'd like to take a break from work, I'm out of vacation days
until next year. *sigh*

I will be attending Conifur this year for the first time. Sorry to
hear about your vacation status and hope to see you at Further
Confusion.

I was hoping to attend Further Confusion next year, but things at work
are in flux. We may or may not have a board meeting that conflicts with
it. And I may or may not be able to afford it as my group of friends is
planning on going to Ireland in the summer. :)

I will be at Katsucon, for Saturday at least, and AnthroCon. Otakon is
up in the air because the conference I run for a living, the Air Medical
Transport Conference, is scheduled for early September of that year and
Otakon is in August. Might not seem like a conflict, but 4 weeks before
our con is when we have the heaviest workload. :(

Speaking of cons, I'll be off-line until the 20th of October. I'm going
to Salt Lake City tomorrow morning. Yay. And it'll be rainy, too.

Conifur. I'm just now putting the finishing touches on the program
book. During the days I'll be chained to a table in the Dealer's room
-- except those couple of times when I'm giving a clinic.

Then there's our annual room party...

After that, the next con for me will be Further Confusion.

We got our tickets for $370 round trip. Dunno how good that is, I
haven't really been keeping track of the prices.

(One year due to an error we flew round trip for $120.) -:)

We made our ticket reservations in May. Which is later than I did the
previous year. Any I think I made the room reservations that month,
too. Or was it June?

The rental car I haven't set up, yet. I need to do that...

For a while, it was routine to find a roundtrip fare of $317 from Newark
to San Jose. Not anymore... I would *like* to see $268 (which pops up on
occassion), but mostly what I've seen has been more like $568, which it
out of my range.

That is steep. Last year we got roundtrips to FurCon for the incredible
price of $89. This year it was $170. But we're a much shorter hop than
from Newark...
