I am looking forward to Further Confusion, save for one tiny problem...
Kevin Duane, aka Assinio, aka Assholio, aka the snail of furrydom, will
not only be there, but got his nose in early enough to choose tables
near the entrance to the dealer's table, thus making it hard to avoid
his sight.

It's really frustrating, because I have to wonder if some people are
going to avoid the dealers den entirely just to not have to deal with
him comming and going. :p

Well, I, for one, am not gonna let Assinio ruin my time at the con. I
need this vacation badly, and will simply avoid him as much as possible.
See you at FC:)

Unfortunately, because FC never sent Ken and I notification that we had
to ask for table assignments, I have no clue if they got my recent email
request... and if they break us up into two separate tables, I'm doing
to have a hissyfit. I have a sneaky suspicion that they're going to
place me at #14-15... the very front, and far too close to Duane in my
opinion.

Hmm. Do you know I was worried that, through some horrible glitch,
your table would be next to Kevin Duane's? Hopefully, FC will realize
the unpopularity of Duane...I am looking forward to seeing you at the
con, and hope that all will go well.

After reviewing the Dealer's Den map, I see what you mean. If that is
the case, I will simply always turn to the right upon entering Dealer's
Den. I would much rather pass by your table and say hello than deal with
him:)

How dare you insult the snails like that...

Ig. Concession sales at the hotel will plummet.

1. His rep is sufficient that most folks will pass him by like a patch
of poison ivy. [I know, don't insult the poison ivy.]

2. If he does at any time become a nusiance, you have the right to
complain to the constaff.

3. If this fails to change his ways, call me. I'll catch a flight up,
strangle the S.O.B. and be out of town before the cops arrive.

Reply was taken to email, in case the curious were wondering... mostly
because I still don't notice *groups* in an email message to tell me it
was copied from a newsgroup as well, not because I had anything to say
that I'd regret later. ;3

When I was at the CF meeting Saturday, I brought up Assholio's location
and according to what Darrel and Michael Underwood said, he's in the
_back_ of the room, not the front.

If they're wrong, consider it a sample of how effectively run CF11 will
be....

Actually, they're right... I had to print out the map to notice the two
double-doors on the south end that are the actual *main* entrance.

And they updated the website with the final map and I'm reasonably happy
with the setup... although I'd have to jog my mind to remember if I
bought one or two tables, as they only assigned one and I'm now
concerned they mistook the 'two tables' to have been 'Ken & Micole' on
one and 'Wolf' on the other ... and since I informed them that Wolf
isn't gonna make it, they might have accidently given his table away.
*sigh* I'll find out the status when I get there... if that's the case,
maybe they can give *me* the refund since I'm the one who paid for the
tables.

Looks like you are far away from Duane, anyway...and he is far away
from the main entrance:) I will simply avoid that part of the room. Hope
you have a safe, comfortable flight out here.
