For those who don't have one or didn't know about the Deja webpages,
people with a Deja account have a page with a 'public' view that
everyone can see, listing pointers to the last view posts you made or
what newsgroups you allow them to see that you frequent and so forth.
This also includes an admittedly small text box area for the 'soapbox'
-- in this case, an editable message you wish the public to see.

I try to change my message on a frequent basis. Here's my latest
'soapbox message':

True artists have more than just talent or skill, they have a geas. They
are never happy with what they've done and strive to get better, always.
All too often, the posers --people wanting to be artists for the fame--
believe they are gifted and their work is perfect and aren't willing (or
are unable) to improve upon themselves. And more often then not, their
work is unremarkable at best and incomprehensible/hideous at worst, with
little talent and no skill.
