To Eric and everyone,
If you would like to broaden your selling area, I suggest utilizing the
services of one of the packaging and shipping companies in your area.
Perhaps the most well known is Mail Boxes Etc., however, there are many
competing franchies and locally owned businesses that specialize in
packing and/or crating merchandise of all shapes and sizes to be
shipped anywhere in the U.S.
If you would like to avail yourself of their services, should you find
a buyer outside your commuting range, just take the speakers to one of
these businesses. Be sure to stress the fragile nature of the speakers
and to request that extra protection be added in the corners. Crating
charges are generally reasonable and can be passed on to the purchaser.
I pass this along as food for thought because someone may just want
these speakers who lives across the country. Similarly, anybody else
who has something to sell without the original boxes can do the same
thing.

Thanks for the input. I would be willing to ship the speakers if the
buyer is willing to pay for the cost of shipping and boxing them. They
are very large, and unfortunatley the panels can not be removed from the
woofer box.
I'm not even sure if UPS will ship them. They are almost 6' tall and
with the woofer box almost 3' deep. It would take a heck of a big box to
accomodate them, but I'm willing if there is a buyer out there who
really wants them.
