Just sold my MA-1!
It's a real good bargain!
Special for any one without a G-1 before!
The codition of jacket you could say it like 9.5 of 10!
You can save at least $200 bucks and toward to your next jacket!
Why I sell it! I need cash and I need a big size!
I don't know when you will have such chance again!
Ask Tim about my A-2's condition! or Aruang about my L-2B jacket ( not

Hardly wear them!
All I can say no where you can get such deal!

Hey TCWu, where on eBay is that jacket? I did a search for "G-1 jacket"
and couldn't find it. What's the item number?

It certainly does look nice, but I'd rather have an Eastman M-422A with
the salmon colored lining and lighter colored goatskin.

Which I do have on order ;)

You should like it; what size did you order? I can't wait until it gets
cool enough to wear mine; I tried it on to make sure it fit okay, took
a few pictures of it, and it's been hanging in the closet since. The
other day it was rainy and cool here, so at least I got to wear an A2
for a bit, pretty good for mid-July.

Aurang,
Thank you!
Did you get your M422a? ( and how about MASH's jackets?)
Actually how many jackets you have!
I didn't buy M422a for two reasons!
Left pocket is bigger than right side and the cutting is longer than G-
1. Of course I have no idea about what's M422a back to then!
Also it's funny if you want me to pick-I will go for G-1 or M422a
instaed of A-2! I think the G-1 is more suitable than A-2 when you ride
on motorcycle!

42R, I also have a 42R flight suits jacket Mahogany A-2 jacket on
order. The veg tanned horsehide came out a little darker and shinier
than they had hoped, so I'm getting it for on the clearance sale $288.
Dave at flight suits assured me that it looks significantly less dark
and less shinny with a few months wear. I don't know, I might return
it right away if it doesn't agree with me, having seen the Eastman A-2
I'm not sure how the Flight Suits will stack up.

Or I could just toss it in the tumble dryer like he did to test wear
and tear ;-) If this A-2 doesn't work out, I'll just have to wait a
little bit for Eastman to do some other things. I'm near convinced
that the M-422a will work out since the 42R A-2 was tugging slightly at
the back with extreme movements, the BI-swing in all probability will
alleviate that.

Charles told me I was the only "hard to fit" case he's had in months,
interestingly enough.

With regards to my current flight jacket state, I tossed out all my
other cheap-o flight jackets, the two Alpha's and a few others. I’m
sure everyone can relate to closet clearing. :) Right now I only have
one flight jacket, a Flight Suits professional uniform jacket with B-15
features.

In the short run, preferably by the end of this year, I hope to have an
M-422A, FS A-2 and a B-15B. Though I have my doubts about the FS A-2,
I might have to wait quite a bit for another solution. In the long run
I also hope to get an L-2, a Type B-15 and A-2 to replace the FS Jacket
(s.) I am also toying with the idea of getting a B-10, though this
will be years down the road.

By spring my closet will most likely look like this

Eastman M-422a
FS Professional
Mash Co. Type B-15B
Mash Co. Type L-2

The veggie FS for $288 sounds like a solid buy, you actually might like
the darker color once you see it? I think A2's look great in darker
shades as well as russet. The Eastman 42r M422a is not a tight jacket
on me, though not sloppy or loose either, so if your follows suit, it
should be the ticket. I'll be interested to hear what you think.
