Dear Partners,

Volunteer Movement is an EVS acreditated organization for sending, hosting and coordinating projects ( you will find more info within our Partner identification form at the attachment)

For the 2nd February deadline we have an EVS Hosting Project on social inclusion of disadvantaged groups in our local. Thus, looking for SENDING ORGANIZATIONS

VOLUNTEERS for INCLUSION vol.1

MAIN TOPICS: Enhance social inclusion, equal opportunities, Access for disadvantaged.

PROJECT DURATION:
6 Months between 1st September 2016- 1st March 2017 ( 2 Volunteers)
6 Months between 1st March 2017- 1st September 2017 (2 Volunteers)

PROJECT SUMMARY:
As Social Inclusion is a topic which has many different dimensions such as poverty, education, etnical ~background, disability, etc. volunteers will be in contact with especially students/young people with some disabilities/disadvantages. For integration the target group, one of the key concepts is principle of doing together. Volunteers will work not only with excluded groups but also other people to raise awareness on social inclusion by sharing the outcomes of our activities. How these above would be achieved, thanks to visual aids, social media, multimedia, blog and seminars.

Profile of the Sending Organization
NGOs Working in the related fields- Social inclusion- Inclusion of disable groups, Youth participation, Art and culture.

Profile of the Volunteer
 -Ability to work in teams and also individually according to the task at hand,
- Interested in our activity areas,
- Motivated to meet new people and cultures,
- Interested in sustainable projects,
- Being open to learn and share knowledge,
- Basic knowledge of English is essential to have a more efficient volunteer work,
- The ones that have former voluntary work experience in related activities,
- Basic knowledge of using design programs is a preference but not a must or asset alone,
- Youngster with fewer opportunities will be given priority.
