Texas Instruments (TI) and Vernier Science Education have announced a new collaboration that enables Vernier Go Direct sensors to connect wirelessly with TI-Nspire CX II and TI-Nspire CX II CAS graphing calculators. By utilizing the Vernier DataQuest application on the calculators, students can collect and analyze scientific data in real time for hands-on STEM learning.


Compatible sensors currently include the Go Direct Motion, Go Direct Temperature, Go Direct Force and Acceleration, Go Direct Light and Color, Go Direct pH, and Go Direct Gas Pressure, with more to be added in the future, Vernier said in a news announcement. Sensor data can be viewed in various TI-Nspire CX II applications, including Vernier DataQuest, Lists & Spreadsheets, and Data & Statistics
