With many customization options, this app can be used in a number of ways. The app can be used to make backups, by syncing your contacts to another account. You can use group filters to sync specific groups only. Also, you can sync any one of your iPhone accounts with Google or Outlook, including your corporate Exchange contacts, iCloud, Yahoo, Outlook.com, or any CardDAV account.

Your Google contacts sync to your Android device when you sign in. Changes to your contacts will automatically sync to keep them backed up and up to date. If multiple Google Accounts are signed in to the same device, Google contacts from all accounts will sync to the device.

Syncing updates the new or changed information in the contacts and calendars on your device. At times you may want to just replace all the contact and calendar information on your device with the information on your Mac.

Thank you for your question! At this time, monday.com does not have the ability to sync Gmail contacts directly to a board. Currently the way to accomplish this is through an import from Excel. We appreciate the feedback - and I have made sure to raise this need to our development team.

By default, are contacts/leads from Salesforce synced into HubSpot as marketing contacts or non-marketing contacts? I wasn't able to find anything that specifically called it out within HubSpot's documentation.

@jolle looking at the portals I've helped, it's in your power. In Settings > Integrations > Marketing Contacts, you'll find "your connected apps." Here you can turn on or off the "turn on sync contacts as marketing contacts."

In Microsoft Teams (free), you can sync the contacts from your mobile device or sync your Google, Outlook.com, and Skype contacts to make it easier to find someone. After you have synced your mobile device, your contacts will also be searchable in Microsoft Teams (free) on desktop and web as well.

If you don't have the expected contacts after syncing, you may have multiple Microsoft accounts. If you have more than one account, you can be signed in to Microsoft Teams (free) but not with the correct account where your contacts are stored. Make sure you are signed in to the correct Microsoft account.

There will be a folder located on Outlook.com, named for your mobile device. The folder allows your contacts to be discoverable on other devices that are signed in to Microsoft Teams (free). You can find it in the People section of your Outlook.com mailbox, under My contacts, then under Folders.

The contacts that are searchable in Microsoft Teams (free) are a direct reflection of the contacts in your phone's address book. Any contacts you delete or changes you make from the device contacts folder on Outlook.com will not reflect in Teams. You can delete these contacts by turning Sync my device contacts off. Your synced contacts will be removed from Outlook.com but will remain in your device's address book.

A client of mine has a LOT of contacts stored on his iPhone. It actually represents a significant operational risk to their business should the phone get damaged. We've transitioned them to O365, migrated all their email, bought all their files across, and so on. But the Contacts - it's been a while since I've had to do this and I'm starting to remember the pain involved.

I've set up Activesync on the phone so it will sync contacts to the Exchange account (Settings - Contacts - Accounts - Contact sync enabled), and the Default Account for contacts has been changed to the Exchange account. However, that only affects new contacts. It doesn't touch the existing local contacts on the phone.

The Outlook app is no good here - it's Contact Sync on IOS is only one way (Exchange -> Phone). Even if we had the contacts in the O365 mailbox that wouldn't work for this user because they are used to editing the contacts in the phone app.

I kinda remember that last time I hit this, the easiest way around it was to install iTunes on the user's laptop (*shudder*) and sync the contacts from the phone to Outlook via a trusty USB cable. But I believe that last year some time Apple took away Contact syncing from iTunes, so that's out.

Syncing your Google Contacts across multiple devices and platforms can be a great way to keep your contact list organized and up-to-date. By regularly syncing your Google contacts, you can ensure your contact information stays current on all of your devices. It can also save you time when trying to add contacts quickly and easily.

You can also customize settings, such as which Google Contact groups will be visible and which notifications you want to receive for updates or changes in the synced contacts. To make sure everything is working properly, open the Contacts app and see if all of your desired contacts are available.

It is important to regularly sync your Google Contacts so that the information stays current across all platforms. Also, be sure to back up your contacts in case of any unforeseen issues with syncing.

Additionally, it is good practice to periodically review and update your contacts with any changes in contact information and delete any unnecessary contacts. Doing this will help keep your Google Contacts clean and organized. Taking these precautions can save you from potential headaches down the line.

With Contacts+, you can take advantage of features that make your life so much easier, such as the ability to add tags and group your contacts. These can help save time when searching for a particular contact or managing outreach. These features are also great for segmenting your contacts into certain lists so you can personalize your email marketing efforts.

I understand that Lead and Accounts are counted as Contacts. But the SAP Data is only data which belongs to Accounts, but in the moment it is counted as additional contacts. What can I do that this does not happen? In the moment I over a Mio. Contacts in my MC.

This is problem with Sync data you can not filter, it brings or sync with crm object and bring all to Marketing Cloud and if you attach as population then all becomes your contacts and on top you cannot delete or reduce the size of your contacts. You have to disconnect your salesforce integration and ask MC support to remove contacts from you contact builder.

i had big trouble getting my contacts synced on the iphone after i've updated them on my mac. i searched the web and it seams i wasn't alone. i tried various things like turning off icloud and then turning it back on to sync. i didn't like this, but it was a workaround.

Go to the groups screen as described above. But now in IOS7 there is no sync button. Touch the list of groups and drag it down and then let it go (similar to how you refresh email). This will force a refresh of the contacts or calendars.

I manage my contacts on a desktop Mac, which is then supposed to sync them through iCloud on my iPhone and iPad, They sync immediately on the iPad but no longer sync on the iPhone. This just recently became a problem. None of the suggestions here have worked for me.

So, once the contacts sync from the Mac to the iPad I go to each contact on the iPad and either text or email it to the iPhone. I then open the text or email on the iPhone and use the "create new contact" option. They are now added.

Three years later and non-syncing is still a problem. I too no longer had a sync button in Contacts with iOS 9.1, so I tried turning off auto sync and deleted my iPhone contacts. I then restarted my iPhone, since the operation seemed to not want to end, and lo and behold the sync button was back! I turned Contact syncing back on and all the contacts from my Mac loaded properly.

I've tried everything, and everything doesn't work. Including the one where you toggle off "Contacts" on iCloud Settings, erase the contacts listed stored in the iPhone, then toggle on "Contacts". iCloud is then supposed to repopulate the Contacts app. Well, it didn't repopulate. The night before a business trip and my Contacts have disappeared.

Finally, I was forced to wheel out the heavy artillery just to kill a gnat; signed out of the iCloud account then signed back in. Thank god that worked because I had no tricks left. That's really putting too much data at risk (photos, email, documents, the whole iCloud shebang) just to force Contacts to sync the 6 new addresses I put in via my iMac.

On my iPhone running iOS 13.3, I can create a new contact in the Contacts app. However, the contacts do not end up in the Contacts app on my desktop Mac (which is running 10.13.6). I have iCloud on the Mac configured to share contacts, as can be see in the following screenshot:

Both the iPhone and my Mac use the same Apple ID. Neither device is out of disk space, nor is iCloud out of space. The contacts that are missing from the Mac were created last week, so I think enough time has passed that it's not a time lag issue.

The contacts app has the concept of different places to store Contacts, indeed all iCloud services do this, a more relatable example would be in Apple Mail where you have multiple mailboxes within each email account.

We are currently evaluating the Secure Mail app (through Intune integration) for a 3000 user installation and you can understand that both of these problems (especially contacts) are deal breakers for us

- In iOS devices (Secure Mail 19.4.5.16), export to personal calendar produces an error and exports some (not all) of the events, without enabling further sync . The error persists regardless of the "Send Org Data to other apps" setting (either "Policy Managed Apps" or "All Apps" enabled) .

- The disappearance of the synced contacts from the device seems to be triggered by opening the Secure Mail app and opening the settings menu of the app, then closing the app. I do this a few times, until the option "Sync to local contacts disappears from the settings menu. I then open the Samsung contacts app and the synced contacts are gone...
