Is there any interest in a MiteredRectangle geometry component? I've
created one for myself. Not sure if this is something you'd want to
include in the core Degrafa geometry components or not. It's very
similar to RoundedRectangle except the corners are mitered instead of
rounded based on the cornerRadius.

Hi Andrew,

We had discussed adding miters and inset angular corners (a miter
would be just a special case where the two corner-cutting segments on
each corner have no angle between them) as an option to the
RoundedRectangle, but decided it didn't make sense given the name
'RoundedRectangle' (although RoundedRectangles do now have a
permitCornerInversion setting that let you specify a negative value
for the corner radii that cut inwards).

Rather than add these as options to the RegularRectangle or make it
core geometry it might sit more comfortably as a new AutoShape.

We fully expect people to develop and release their own extensions to
Degrafa, but this definitely sounds like a useful one to include in
the standard autoshapes package if you would like to contribute it.
Please contact either myself or Jason Hawryluk and we can discuss
further via IM.

cheers
Greg
