Degree Lines Around Circle

I am using Degrafa in a Flex 3 application I am creating on a race
clock display. I need to put tick lines around a circle. Kind of like
minute markers would be around a clock. Have a look at this post and
see how I have the lines at the quarter position on the circle? I did
that by adding each line in. Each when they are only vertical and
horizontal.

I would would those lines all the way around the circle but do it
programming. Ideally if I could set the number of lines, their length
and stoke that would be prefect.

Any help would be much appreciated.
