Hi everybody,
I am currently using Deformetrica 4.3.0. To create an Atlas of the left ventricle of a cohort of 10 patients, I use the DeterministicAtlas function of Deformetrica. For each patient, I have 40 stl files, representing the surface of the LV throughout the cardiac cycle. My idea is to create one template for each of the 40 instances, so that I have an average shape with motion over the whole heartbeat.
I have a question regarding the Deformetrica output. In the output folder, I find for each subject 10 vtk files that are named 'DeterministicAtlas_flow_subjectid_1-10.vtk'. I understand that the file with the number 1 represents the current subject and 10 is the template, but what is the meaning of the intermediate files (2-9). According to the source code the 'flow' is represented in those files. What exactly is the 'flow' and what are the values for the different (2-9) files. Just by visual inspection, I can see that the template is morphed in to the subject, but I have no clue why there are 10 files in total per subject and if i can change the number of files here?
Any help is really appreciated.
Thanks in Advance, Max.
