Install Deformetrica on M4 Mac

Hi everyone,

I'm struggling to download Deformetrica on MacOS with an M4 processor. I've tried lots of different ways and even tried chatgpt for help but the issue I keep coming back to is the torch version:

ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement torch==1.6 (from versions: 1.9.0, 1.10.0, 1.10.1, 1.10.2, 1.11.0, 1.12.0, 1.12.1, 1.13.0, 1.13.1, 2.0.0, 2.0.1, 2.1.0, 2.1.1, 2.1.2, 2.2.0, 2.2.1, 2.2.2, 2.3.0, 2.3.1, 2.4.0, 2.4.1)

ERROR: No matching distribution found for torch==1.6

Can anyone help?

Sometimes I have an issue with the version of python, and get a similar error message. 

If anyone knows the versions of deformetrica, python and torch that I'll need on this computer and exactly how best to install them I'd be super grateful. I haven't really used terminal or python before (more familiar with R) so very step-by-step instructions would be really appreciated!
