I was wondering if there is a way to set a hard limit on the amount of memory that deformetrica can use during a run?

Hello Liam, 

There is no particular limit on the amount of memory used by Deformetrica. 

If you have memory issues, it is probably because the requested amount exceeded the capacity of your hardware. 

What you may need instead are guidelines on how to limit the memory usage of Deformetrica. 

For instance, if we are talking about GPU memory, a first step is to ensure that only "keops" kernels are used. See https://gitlab.com/icm-institute/aramislab/deformetrica/wikis/3_user_manual/3.6_kernels for further discussion.

Thank you for your help, switching the kernals to keops really seemed to help keep memory usage down.
