Can't download

I'm using the latest release, but can't download from ffnet anymore. I
noticed it when I was trying to download a specific link today:
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8550403/27/

The first two steps go down without problems, and it does fetch the
story, but whenever I try to save to a directory I get the following
error message:

TypeError: decoding Unicode is not supported


I tried to see if it's the same with other links, and tried to download
links that worked without problem before, but I still get this error
message. What does that mean? Can it be fixed?
