Changes:
  • Added a 3 second delay between chapters - This can be changed later if too many people complain.  I have added it in due to the recent events going on at FF.Net
  • Fixed the Oneshot/Completed check box
  • Fixed the title problems reported by Amelie

I have also posted the source code to GitHub.  I will no longer be including it with the installer or on the website.  All changes will be posted to GitHub. To get a copy go to https://github.com/CLPeters/DeFFNetIzer and click on the download zip button that is in the right side menu.

Thanks,
Chad

Downloaded and installed it. Control Panel says version 2456590.75. Program window says 2456573.5. Also triggers update notice that 2456590.75 is available for download.

Also, although Oneshot/Completed box auto-checks, when attempting to download a (second) oneshot after either downloading a oneshot or a completed story results in the Completed/Oneshot box being grayed out. Downloading a (second) complete story in the same session works however.

Sigh.  I'll try it again.  Been a long night and I just got yelled at by some lady via a support ticket telling me:

------
I've tried to download a FF 6116021 a couple of times and I keep getting a message that says it was unable to load and check to be sure it was true url. I also get a message saying that I am using a lesser version of your program, but I don't see how to download the newer version. I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT FLAGFIC HAS NONE OF THESE PROBLEMS. IT WORKED SEAMLESSLY AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU WON'T ALLOW THEM TO PROVIDE THEIR SERVICE. IT SEEMS LIKE SOMEONE IS JUST BEING PETTY!!! PLEASE, PLEASE LIFT YOUR BAN ON FLAGFIC. YOUR PROGRAMS ARE NOT THE SAME CALIBER AS THEIRS. THE PROOF IS IN THE NABBING!!!
------

My reply was not nice...

And she just replied.  Not really an apology mind you.

So, are you going to help me use your program or not? Flagfic had you listed on their website as a program that would download FF's. Obviously I didn't realize you weren't fiction.press! So, can you help with the error message I get when I try to use your program???
-----

Sigh.

Yay! Thank you for the fixes, Chad! I appreciate it. :)

And don't mind the crazy person. Clearly this person does not have the same relationship with reality the rest of us have, and they clearly do not realize that software like this one is freeware and you have no obligation whatsoever just because you decided to make deffnetizer and make it openly available.

I for one make it a rule to never even read what people have to say if insist on using capslock because the nonsense hurts my brain, and so should you. It's much easier that way. :)
